Supercup 2006: Dynamo vs Shakhtar

I don't know who is injured, so if anyone has any info, please let us know.
My prefered 11 would be:

Shovkovskiy
Eschenko, Gavrancic, Rodolfo, Nesmachnyi
Husyev, Rebrov, Yussuf, Diogo Rincon
Shatskikh, Kleber

Subs:
Ribka, Sablic, Ghioane (???), Rotan, Belkevich, Verpakovskis, Milevskiy

Dynamo Kyiv are better than Shakhtar Donnetsk!

Rebrov 100,Vaschuk,Fedorov and Kleber are all injuried, should only return in September......Husiev and Nesmachny are not yet fit and likely will not play, also Rybka has a small injurie and also will not play...Shovkovsky thought not been training with the team likely will start.

Likely line up:

Shovkovsky;Eschenko,gavrancic,rodolfo,kaddouri;Cor rea,Yussuf,Belkevich,
Rincon;Shatsikh,Milevsky.

Maybe the Mod here(funny both Karpaty fans!p ) should edit the name of this thread to Supercup game.

Totally agree with the lineup kleber Instead of Shatskikh I would start Verpakovskis though as the out-and out striker. I know its wishful thinking, but if Milevsky holds up the ball and lets Dynamo pour foward, that formation gives Verpakovskis a chance to burst on the break also, whereas Maxim is a little one-dimensional with Milevsky as his partner; he is a skillful poacher more-or-less.
Dynamo will be looking to play balls into the box too often, and we dont have the quality crossers to do that well and Shatskikh will become isolated. I honestly feel that Dynamo should play their old style of counterattack, but instead of Rebrov behind Sheva, we have Milevsky behind Verpakovskis.

Kleber and Shatskikh should play together because they are similar types of players, but in a flat 4-4-2 so they are side by side. Hopefully Correa can become the holding player we have been looking for and we could have a shot at the CL group stage if the defense recovers from injury and we sign Rusol or someone of that quality.

Supposedly Dynamo are close to signing Belyk also, that seems a straight replacement for Verpakovskis to me. :undecide:

I agree, but I think Verpakovskis instead of Milevsky, and Lutsenko or Reva instead of Sasho. Yea, they aren't as good. But why did DK buy them if they would NEVER use them Seems stupid to me. They surely have to use them today..And Milevsky, give him a bit more time to rest. Start Maris today, see how he does in a big game...And to be quite honest, I don't believe DK will end up buying Byelik.

Kozak,Lutsenko is the Dynamo third keeper since almost 98,about Reva he was a Dynamo starter back in 01 and 02!

And buying Belik will be a waste of money,we need a playmaker.

I have suspision they will by Belyk but he wont stay with Shakhtar, that would be a waste of a career. At least to Metalurh Donets'k.

Dynamo to by a playmaker, fair claim - who do you promose kleber? We dont have the money to buy a Matuzalem, and Cernat is average, whilst Belkevich is on his last legs. Nazarenko?

I was thinking Nazarenko. He is the 26 year old left-winger no? Also very quick I have heard, although like Kalinichenko, lacks consistency. I would buy him. Diogo Rincon is like Rotan IMO. He is not a natural left winger, although he can play there. Will play better in the middle.

Dynamo Kyiv are better than Shakhtar Donnetsk!

We are after Chilean playmaker Matias Fernandez,21 years....Dynamo made an offer around 9 millions dollars,Colo Colo refused it.

The starting line ups should be available now, but the DK site has, as usual, broken down during a game. Any know what they are or where I can get commentary, written or spoken?

Dynamo Kyiv are better than Shakhtar Donnetsk!

P.S. This lineup is making me very nervous - Rodrigo and Sablic make our right side look vulnerable. El Kaddouri is playing left back with Markovic in rotation on the right side.

Correa is holding the midfield with Yussuf, whilst Rincon and Rebrov are the key attackers. We are playing with one striker - Shatskikh. Almost half time.

From what I gather we are playing with 2 wing players with Kaddouri and Markovic being wingbacks and a central three of Rodolfo, Sabilic and Rodrigo.

But that can change with Myhalyk coming on in place of Rodolfo now.
