Upl Round 12:Dynamo-Fk Kharkiv

A win is always a win,Rincon scored the only goal from penalty on the 66 min.
Sadly Shakhtar won so Dynamo still two points behind.

Respectable win . Anyone see how Verpakovskis got absolutely robbed of a sure goal by the Kharkiv goalkeeper? Super Maris isnt so super anymore

Was he ever really 'super' for Dynamo? He hasn't lived up to all the hype unfortunately. After being soo good for Latvia in 2003/04, he just went sour :depress:

Yes,i agree with you,Verpakovkis after the euro 2004 has just lost his form, the same goes to Leko.

Dynamo needs one or maybe two new strikers,we have only two good guys in front Shatsikh and Kleber.

i doubt kleber's ablity in europe though. Shatskikh is prolific in europe, I love the guy! He definately has had games in which he has been invisible though, so we definately need another quality striker. Verpakovskis and kleber are good backups i think, most teams would kill to have them as supporting strikers, but Dynamo need some1 to fit into theior system. I mean Maxim wasn't anything special when he came to Kyiv (second division in Russia?!) but look at what he has done for us?! Definately need an eastern European though, someone who is good in the air too who can link up with Rincon, and has pace to burn.

Verpakovskis would be awesome playing just behind Shatskikh, but what happened to him? no1 knows....needs his form back. he is a decent passer of the ball and could play supporter to Maxim like the Sheva-Rebrov combination we had.

Any suggestions as to who though? I still have some faith in Milevsky eventually finding the right set of boots to shoot with and Maris getting on track. I remember after his goal against Real Madrid i was thinking he had arrived, but it wasnt to be....

Yea...Maris' goal vs Madrid was "super" . I remember that game clearly actually. That was one of my first times I saw Dynamo p. I didnt know about Shuriks DK site, or even the official site, all I knew was DKM! p. Which reminds me, when is that lying son of a gun going to update his site

All I can say about this game is that Dynamo need a quality striker and that if any of the Kharkiv teams will be fighting for the European spot, it will be FC Kharkiv and not Metalist...
