IE has closed the gap with it's latest release but its still behind the game when it comes to both functionality and adhering to standards.

Because 30 votes went to Mozilla Firefox.

If you haven't tried the other ones how do you know IE isn't that bad?

i can assure you its remarkedly slower than most other browsers.
If you try Firefox, just dont install too many plug-ins. I had lots of add in's and it made it too slow not only that but they constantly check for updates. Thats why I went with Opera in the end. Chrome is also a pretty decent browser.

Because FF did so well off IE, it gave credence to others to produce better browsers, and IE has been playing catch up for ages. People still like FF, and its better than IE, but its not as quick as others. My PC is too slow so I need things that are quick.

Opera. I cannot live without mouse gestures, and I'm a recent convert to it, having used Firefox for years. Unfortunately Firefox's market share in America is slipping due to sh*t Chrome which I loathe.

Whats wrong with Chrome, its simple , effective. Now, the most popular in the world.

I use it as an alternative browser for sites that I 'd like to keep open all the time.

me... too.. love Opera's M. Gestures.

I just updated my browser, firefox, and now it has messed up the keyboard.

The key that normally shows PLUS now comes up with this sign -
SHIFT plus FULLSTOP which would normally be Colon, is now a >
and so on...

Any suggestions *questionmark*

Nothing changed in MS Word, etc..

I can't even run newer versions of Mozilla on my laptop at all. The application installs fine but won't launch, it runs a process but doesn't actually display a window on screen and the only way to close it is to manually kill the process.

Same thing with Thunderbird.

Seemingly a reasonably common occurrence too looking through support forums.

With Chrome having an extensive add-on library itself these days, I feel Mozilla is becoming more and more redundant unfortunately.

Now I'm using 2 browsers Mozilla Firefox and Chrome, but I find Mozilla better for online streaming of videos and browsing on pages, Chrome is better for games and apps that need resources, because it opens a process in windows for every tab you open, so if you are planning to use Chrome, you must have a good config for your pc.
