Dynamo Moskva Thread

MOSCOW, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Former Romania and Chelsea defender Dan Petrescu was named coach of Dynamo Moscow on Friday, three days after leaving fellow-Russian Premier League club Kuban Krasnodar.
Petrescu, 44, will soon sign a three-year-contract, Dynamo said on their website (www.fcdynamo.ru).
He quit the provincial side from the Black Sea region on Tuesday, saying he needed a "new challenge".
The Romanian replaces former Russia international Dmitry Khokhlov, who was named caretaker coach 11 days ago in place of Sergei Silkin following a dreadful start to the season.
Dynamo, the country's oldest football club, are bottom of the league after losing all four games without scoring a goal and conceding nine.
Dynamo also announced a front office reshuffling, naming former KGB general Gennady Solovyev as the club's new president.
Khokhlov will coach Dynamo in Sunday's league game against Terek Grozny while Petrescu will begin his reign on Monday, the club added.

I think it's a good hiring. He's the type of coach who can grind out results and I think Dinamo will find their form under him.

So kokorin, denisov and zhirkov official announced.

Dynamo is now clearly a top 3 contender.

this thread will be active i guess.

shunin
wilkshire
douglas
fernandez
zhirkov
denisov
noboa
dzsuzsak
voronin
kokorin
kurany

And you can not expect vtb to buy 1 or 2 more defenders.

there are issues of course with zhirkov, kokorin and kurany fitness.
all this plaers are yet to play this year and they will not long a all season but dynamo have no european cups this season.

pressure on petrescu

Only Zenit, Spartak and Dynamo can win the League this season.

I would expect Kokorin to get a good old fashioned paint ball blasting at training not in a fun way, in the same way the Dynamo Ultras dealt with there teams poor form last season!

Are you going to write off CSKA every season? They could easily win.
Even without Love and Honda. They were leading the league last season before they even got Love and Honda missed a bunch of games with injuries as well. Plus they now have Doumbia back who missed practically all of last season.

Yep they wont finish above 4th.

Reason - Donkey defenders, best mid going, 2 out of there 3 strikers either sold or loaned, your left with an injury prone striker and a paper thin squad with a guaranteed minimum of 6 European matches. Remember they got knocked out of Europe last season at some obscure time like June or July to some random Faroe or Icelantic nobody had heard of then and nobody has heard of since!

Even the fans have given up 8000 for first home match as Champions.

They aint called CSKA Morecambe for no reason.

P.S. It was on Sky Sports today, Morecambe have sold 4 tickets for their match v Portsmouth tmrow!

CSKA will finish in the top 4. Guaranteed. Dynamo won't finish above 4th as it will take time for their signings to gel.

CDG do you ever even watch CSKA play? Musa and Doumbia are both strikers. That's two not one. And it's very likely they'll bring in another one before the end of the window. Honda is staying until January.

Oh and their "donkey defenders" didn't stop them from winning the league last year.

You shouldn't write them off.

I will agree with you both if CSKA get over 10000 for this weekends home match.

Cant be fairer than that.

Well even if you remove the big derby game against Spartak last season, CSKA still averaged over 10k in attendance. Those numbers have to come from somewhere.

God no, I doubt he watches anyone but Zenit. He doesn't even like Russian footy in general; just a Zenit fan boy who likes to make imaginary lists and what not.

I made a point of watching all the CSKA Moscow matches in Europe last season. I came home one warm June night, had a shower and guess what? It was over, smashed 2-0 at home by the European Super Power House called AIK! Looool.

Your just still upset because out of 16 teams CSKA Moscow have the 15th lowest average attendance. If you weren't Champions I have no doubt you would be bottom of the pile. 14 Million people in 1 City, 1st Championship in 7 years, nice sunny day and only 9,000 can be arsed to watch them.

You have no fans and you know it and all your players want to leave/love.)

It was round about this time last year when you and buddy Tony Tiger started calling for your manager to be sacked.

The only top 4 your finishing in this year is the top 4 supported clubs in Moscow where you will finish 4th. Slutsky out.)

Mamaev on loan to Krasnador
Vagner Love gone to China
Necid on loan to the Greeks
Honda going to AC Milan (meeting with them on Tuesday).
Doumbia cant seem to play more than half a dozen games without getting injured.

And some random unknowns are going to fill in the gaps of those 4 players? Lols.

That in a nutshell is why CSKA Morecambe wont finish any higher than 4th.

Samba and Gabulov are coming over as well. Gabulov is a bit better than their current keepers and Samba of course should be a noticeable upgrade in defense.
