Russian Prediction League 2008

Hopefully there are enough people who want to take part in this prediction league, since I asked for it to be made.

You can predict here: https://www.xtratime.org/forum/pl_sta...php?league=125

I'll try to update the scores and input the next round of games asap each week. If anyone has a problem with any of the spelling of the teams then tell me And i'm taking the kick-off times from soccernet.com. The prediction leagues on xt have a rule where you can't predict less than 3 hours before the matches are due to kick-off, so i'll just be putting all kick-off times 3 hours behind what they actually are (before kleber informs me i'm posting wrong kick-off times p).

It's better to be lucky than good.

Good. Most of it is down to luck anyway. Think of it as extra motivation to follow the RPL scores every week

Thanks. All the matches and kick-offs are the same as soccernet for this round anyway.

Do you get awarded 1 point for predicting a tie? I would think so its just that the rules didn't explain that for 'predicting game-winner'.

Yeah, you get 1 point for that. And obviously if you predicted the right score, e.g. 1-1 then you'd get the 2 point correct score bonus.

Is there a way to check your results before the completion of the round? I forgot what result I had put for todays game and it doesn't show my predicted score now since the game started

Rules do explain that too. A game can be won by one team, or the other, or by no team. Predicting a draw, you basically predict there will be no winner in a game. And if a game indeed ends in a draw, it means you correctly predicted the winner (by predicting there will be no winner). In that case you get the same points as in case you predict one team to win and this team indeed wins the game.

The results are up now. I couldn't access xt for two days because of technical problems. Only 5 competitors in round 1 is a bit disappointing. The new Russian moderator should be playing at least

And was there ever any doubt who'd be leading? p

I was getting ready to say you were lucky Moskva got scored on in the last minute or I would have rang up the correct score, but you had it 2-1 as well Looks like I'm going against someone who knows the odds pretty well
