Teams: cska moskva & russia
this game was always going to be tough, even with russia's first 11. ignashevich being injured just made it harder, no organization in the defense and players of ignashevich's experience would not let the team concede 4 goals in the last 22 minutes.
for me, russia lack a true goalscorer i.e. someone who will bag 20+ goals a season. pogrebnyak is a good player but lacks the composure of a top striker and the rest are too inconsistent although pavlyuchenko is showing signs of consistency.
the russian first team is easily in the top 15 in europe, the depth beyond that is worrying. not too worry though, it was only a friendly and i would much rather the team lose this game than one in the qualifiers.
