Will we qualify for Euro 2008?

Vote and give your opinions please. My heart says we'll qualify, my brain says that we'll lose in Croatia and England, and lose valuable points to Israel and Macedonia and not qualify

I voted for the last option. I will be one of the people to overrate us again, but will eventually come to my senses when we lose in Skopje and Tel-Aviv.

You should have put others options there,"like England,Croatia and Israel are better than us so likely we will not qualify"in the game against Slovakia i gave 20 % per chances of Russia to win, this time i will 30%,only because Hiddink is a miracle man,but can he do it again, now with the russian team, nah!

If a god-awful team like Ukrayina can somehow make it to the WC QF's, anything can happen.

Croatia and Russia is 50-50, they will be favourties in Zagreb, us in Moscow. Out of all the so called ' big teams', England is easily the most beatable. Israel and Macedonia are tough/skilled sides who will most likely steal points off Russia, Croatia and England.

Nah, Arshavin or Loskov as the playmaker.

I said yes. For Russia it's never a question of talent, it's a question of motivation. And Hiddink might be the manwho can change the team...

Thanks for the support Viola Good luck to Austria as well. Btw not to go off topic, but in your opinion do Austria and Switzerland have the world class facilities to host such a tournament?

I think you will qualify. Can't imagine Austrian stadiums without some hot female supporters from Moscow...

Caipirinha: 6 €
Brazilian NT shirt: 70 €
Flight to Rio de Janeiro: 400 €
Seeing Italian NT kicked out of major tournament: PRICELESS

Hatelist:

Partizan
Associazione Culo Milan
Lazio
Barcelona de mierda
Real de puta Madrid
Manchester Shitnated
Liverfool
Dinamo Kyiv
Panathinaikos
Olympique Marseille
Bayern
New England Shitriots
All NBA and NHL except Red Wings

Well you guys have Guus Hiddink and that guy is an excellent coach and with him Russia increases its chances to qualify. Well IMO it will be very tough competition until the last round and each encounter will be decisive. Croatia and Russia are favourites to fight for second spot, Israel comes a bit behind, but we have chances, we have a very good home record and if we manage to get some points away from Russia or Croatia we could go through.

Yes, because both countries obviously have the money. Which means 7 out of 8 stadiums are completely new...

Actually I think the tournament will be easy to host for these countries, the only question is the strength of the Austrian team...

On topic: Russia needs one man who can combine the strengths of all Russian clubs. We all know how difficult that is, so maybe it's too big a task, but as I said, the talent is there...CSKA for example became UEFA Cup holders with a number of Russian players, not just Brazilians and I'm sure the current Russian generation is more talented than that 5 or 10 years ago.

Russia will qualify, perhaps even in 1st place. No-one who watched England play in Germany could be afraid of them, and with Steve McLaren in charge I don't see much improvement imminent. And Prso will probably retire from internationals so Croatia will lose their best player

Seriously, I think it's about attitude and you've got to have faith in Hiddink. There's no question that Russia have the players to compete with and beat these teams. It's all about getting them to play together in a system.
