Sergei Shtaniuk-how's he doing?

Hi there,
Posted here a long time ago regarding a former hero of ours at Stoke City, Sergei Shtaniuk. I see he played often for Shinnik last season and was captain many times. Does anyone know if he is to remain at Shinnik for the next season or if he is going to move elsewhere? At Stoke City, we would have him back tomorrow- he is still very, very popular here and regarded as one of the toughest players we have ever had. However, as I can't speak or read Russian beyond a few words, I'm really keen to let my fellow Stoke fans know what he is up to now that the Russian season is over.
Congrats to CSKA on producing the goods in Europe too- I won some money with that bet! And a hello to those who spoke to me before, namely Dmitry and Viola amongst others. Stoke for the Premiership via the playoffs this year!
You may also be interested to know that our current manager is Johan Boskamp, who previously managed the Georgian NT- apparently he had a terrible time there , but he is becoming a hero here. He also tried to sign Vladimir But a while ago- anyone know anything about him?
So anyway, can anyone tell me a little more about how Sergei is doing?
Best Regards
Jason

Hi Jason.

Well Shtanyuk has just moved to a Ukrainan club called Metalurh Zaporizha, well you might see him playing in england next year, who knows, because Zaporizha is on the semi finals of the Ukrainian cup,so they have a chance to go to the european cups.

Vladimir But was playing in Shinnik as Shtanyuk, but he also leave the club,i dont know where is he playing now.......

Btw,vasily Rats is a legend.....

Thanks Kleber- I know nothing of that club apart from the fact they played Leed United here in the Uefa Cup about four years ago. It was reported here that a couple of English clubs were interested in him before Metalurg signed him for a year. Any links to Metalurg or Ukrainian football in general?

Now you have to put M.Zaporizha instead of Shinnik in your profile....

Kleber-
It would take as long to say and pronounce correctly as it would to spell! If he'd signed for Tomsk it would have been so much easier! Russian and Ukrainian are NOT easy languages!!!

But I've done it Kleber, just for you!!!
