Round 19: Rubin Kazan' - Loko

They say it's hard to win in Kazan', and as far as I remember we did have problems there... The stats aren't good either:

Games played: 5
Won: 1
Draws: 3
Lost: 1
Goals: 3 - 4

it seems to be the worst result of all games played against teams who started playing in RPL relatively recently... And our very first match against Rubin which was played in Kazan' in 2003 we lost 3:1

27.06.2003 "Rubin"-"Loko" 3:1
11.07.2003 "Loko"-"Rubin" 1:1
03.04.2004 "Rubin"-"Loko" 0:0
24.10.2004 "Loko"-"Rubin" 0:0
09.04.2005 "Loko"-"Rubin" 1:0

however, the only match we won so far was played this season so maybe it's time to start improving the stats If only we didnt have to play so many hard games recently .

It must be interesting for clubs and supporters to go far for pretty much every league game in Russia (other then when Moscow clubs play). It must be pretty fatigueing as well. I dont know much about Rubin Kazan, but I think many of the Loko players will be a bit too fatigued to pull off a victory. But, they are undeafted this year, I think they'll keep that in mind and that will give them some extra motivation. I predict a draw, but no one will score more then 3 goals. No worries, Loko will not lose. After all, this is coming from the leader of the Ukrainian prediction championship p

Maybe Loko will start the game no 100% concentrated. But I guess Rapid will be eager about this game. To compare Loko with their last Russian opponent...

I agree that Loko won't be 100% concentrated. On one hand, it's good that CSKA lost points in the match against Moskva, but on the other hand, Loko may be more relaxed now... .

Well, for the first time i was right about the winner.
Hey,Julia is Sychev injurie serious?,i didnt see the game.

Eshtrekov should have played with other players, and give some rest to some key players .
Also these shows that Rapid can beat Loko in Vienna.

Kleber, Semin "rested" key players wehn we were in CL last time, and we finished 4th in the league, with no trip to europe. I don't think Eshtrekhov needs your advice, if he wants to play in CL next year.

i dont know he just didnt get up after the game was finished, i saw Rubin keeper come up to him, and then there were tv ads or smth, and when they finally showed the field again all players have already left

yeah, looks like you are right. The result wouldnt be worse anyway . From what I saw, Rapid can beat Loko in Moscow too . Cos we only played the last 15 mins, the rest of time it was just walking about :rollani:.

although I kinda hope that after they celebrate Kazan's 1000th anniversary they'll stop paying so much attention to the club and won't buy refs anymore
