As far as i know the 1st team passes, two teams which are the 2nd in their groups and have the best results of all teams which are 2nd (damn! how easy to understand what i mean ) pass too. And other 2nd teams play with each other like we played with Wales before Euro 2004.
Or is it only correct for the main teams and U21 have some other rules? I'm soooooo stupid today. :depress:

there was also a rule of not counting the points earned in matches with the worst team in group or is it from another competition? lol now I've made it even more complicated

Infinity, that's the rule for senior NT's, this is the rule for U21's, taken from UEFA's site.

Play-off format
Play-off matches between the eight group winners and eight runners-up will take place on 12/13 and 15/16 November 2005 and will be played on a home and away basis. The pairings will be decided by means of a draw, which will ensure a winner and runner-up from any one group do not play one another again. The eight winners of these play-off matches will then proceed to the final tournament.

Yuran was rumoured to replace Chernyshov soon. Wouldn't say I'm so excited about Yuran taking this place, but at least we'll get rid of this bromanthanish pig.

Utkin spoke about how do guys get a place in the line-up of U21 yesterday. It's just about the agents' relationship with coach. well, what else could we expect from a man like Chernyshov

And what's up with Chernyshov? I know almost nothing about our U21 NT. :depress: Only that we have already forgotten how to qualify to any Championships. :fero:

Well, it was exactly Chernyshov who was in charge of SM when all this bromanthan story began, and I don't have any doubts he used it in U21 as well. Utkin told about the practice when agents of our youngsters pay Chernyshov for inviting and putting them in starting 11.
What is more, he's just a crappy coach. That's what's wrong.

because of his conflict with the Pharmacologist.
Moreover, Igor is ready to play for "adults" and probably Siomin will add him to the list in a week or two.
