Pervij Division 2004

6 rounds are played, looking good for Terek (Pyatigorsk), Sokol (Saratow) and Kamas (N. Tshalni) ) so far.

The first round brought big games in Makhatshkala (Anshi 1-0 Metallurg-Kubass, att: 16500) and Saransk (Lisma-Mordovia 0-2 Dinamo M, att. 14000).

Wins for Terek, Baltika and Sokol.

Round 2
Anshi defeats Tom in front of 14000, 1-0. Terek wins again, also Kamas. Baltika loses. 12000 persons watch nwe team Oryol draw with Metallurg).

Round 3
Uralan (still undefeated) draw 3-3 with Dinamo Br, crowd: 6000. Terek wins in Tshita, Sokol draws in Lipezk and Kamas draws versus Gasovik Gasprom.

Biggest crowd: SKA Snergia Khabarowsk (what a name ) - Tshernomorets: 12300.

Thats fascinating, a lower division game between a team from Khabarowsk (East Asia) vs Novorossisk (at the Black Sea)...I love Russia!

More to follow...

Terek isn't from Pyatigorsk, he is from Grozniy, Chechnya. He just doesn't play there cos of a war. It is a very important notice, because there is a rumour that a team from Chechnya will never be let to play in Russian premier league. Some couloir's authorities will against it. But nobody says it openly, but many think so.

No, SKA is in the second division and takes the 10th position.

G W D L GOALS P
10. SKA 4 2 0 2 4-11 6

The last game they won against Zhemchuzhina from Sochi 2-1.
And Zelikov from SKA is the 2nd scorer in the division with 4 goals

And a pity, but the game was in attendance of few people - only 1000.

if Rostov goes on playing this season as he played at the beginning of the season, you will be able to see derby, in 2 years, in the 2nd division

Round 7:
Sixth win for Terek, 1-0 in Nishnekamsk

CRAZY GAME Uralan-Anshi...5-5!!!!!

Uralan were up 5-1, but Anshi managed the equaliser in front of 5000 at Elista.

Khabarowsk 0-0 Sokol (14000)
Novokusnezk 1-2 Tom Tomsk
Kamas loses, which allows Dinamo Makhatshkala to move up the table.
