Derby kick off their season with a 2:1 home victory over Birmingham City  Goals were scored by new signing Shackell and Davies. Promising start to the season, especially considring the dreadful home form last season

By all accounts Shackell was quality, with Barker and Riggott to add to the defence, we may actually be solid at the back for once, which is always a good start.

This game we battled well, and a bit of quality from steve davies made the difference, still early days to see how this team will go, but a good start.

Derby suffer another early Carling Cup loss as they fall to Shrewsbury 3:2 at Pride Park. Not too concerned really, just concentrate on the league

Hell again injury problem, now with Russell being out due to a groin strain for a month. With Riggotts, Buxton and Barker already being injured its tough for Rams in central position, and even Shackell is not fully fit. Derby's rival Watford are hell fit, hope you guys.

Derby beat Watford 1:0 with a goal from Davies. Watford seemed to be the better team but the result is the most important thing and Derby start off the season with two wins.

Already a midweek game as Derby once again go on the road, this time against Blackpool which should be a good test.

couldnt have dreamed of this start, especially with the injuries. the team is battling hard and standing up to pressure when we are being outplayed, something we didnt do last season, we'd have lost these 2 games last year.

young lads o'brien and hendrick impressing which is good to see, and steve davies showing his class, hopefully we can keep him fit.

three wins in three!!

Derby beat Blackpool away with a goal from Craig Bryson, his first in a Derby shirt. Didn;t watch the game but apparently it was a more equal game than the match at Watford.

Bottom of the table Doncaster at home is the next match, we lost these type of matches last season, hopefully they recover from last seasons home form

a rather easy win for Derby over Doncaster at Pride Park, 3:0. Steve Davies scored again too. First time Derby won four in a row to start the season since 1905 if I heard correctly.

Derby along with Southampton are the only teams with a 100% record, Southampton top of the table on GD. Burnley at home next week

Derby has suffered their first loss of the season to Burnley at home 1:2. Rams apparently played well and were unlucky to get at least 1 point. The loss doesn't harm Derby too much, they are still 3rd in the league, but really too early to look at the table.

International break is next weekend, in two weeks Derby play their usual bogey match...Coventry away. But they are struggling, still without a win

Seth Johnson in his first spell with the club i think.

Need to get a win at coventry, they are struggling the games there to win. A bit disappointing we didnt strengthen the squad, surely an ideal time to do so when we have started so well? we'ree still short in certain areas, though do have some key players to come back from injury.
