You have to beat teams that came up with you if you have a chance to stay up.

I really hope you can get your first win of the season, but Birmingham on paper look alot stronger then you guys. Hopefully you can show the same motivation and determination that you did against Pompey and prove everyone wrong

Good luck anyway.

As Jimbo, has gone away on holiday I will try and be on here as much as possible... to sorta get the updates on here as soon as pos

I can't emphisase how important this game is in our season.. besides the fact we havn't won a game.. it is crucial that we don't drop points to one of our fellow promoted teams

It will be interesting to see if any new players come into the club over the coming week to bolster our squad.. from watching the Highlights last night, it is apparent that we need a few more players in there!

Well, found a bit of time to get online

I see not much action in the transfer market, wish we´d hurry up and get vayrynen and a striker in, should be able to watch soccer saturday over here, with my Derby shirt on, so i hope it won´t be another embarasment

Well hear we are the big day for big game... I can sense there will be a sense of nervousness at the game today... as we really do need to win this game in my eyes to move us up the table, and also to win a game in our ' mini league ' within the premiership

After the high of getting a draw on the opening day... we got the lowest of the low today.. we were absoulute shi** from start to finish to be honest.. we clearly looked outclassed for the majority of the game.. and usually I try to take some positives out of any game we play.. but today. I'm really struggling to find some

The most obvious thing was the players that Brum had bought, really looked class and gave them that extra edge over us.... Today was just one of them days and games that was just awful, Jimbo said himself that if we didn't win that we would be in the shi* and quite frankly it is looking that way

This next week is going to be critical I think.. because we need at least 4 or 5 good players.. Now I mean good players here and not average players. We need players that can win us games and score us goals

Good job.. I'm down Derby tonight, for a good nite out to hopefully drown me sorrows and forget about today's game

After reflecting on yesterday's game.. and reading and hearing that has been said.. you can almost feel there is a sense of realisation from most fans and people that we are going to facing relegation after just one season . I mean I really hate to be talking about this and we havn't even finished August yet

But after looking at the next 3 fixtures.. which are Liverpool, Newcastle and Arsenal.. ermm I think if we can have maybe a couple of shots on target tha t would be pleasing.. but honestly you can write off Liverpool and Arsenal straight away as 2 defeats.. ermm maybe Newcastle at home.. possibly a draw maybe even a win.. as they don't play well away from home from time to time. But even then thats optimisitc

No-one said this season would be easy... but you almost get the feeling that we are going to be depressed nearly every game this season.. which begged to think about this question.. Which situation would you rather us be in?

1. Playing in the Premiership, always in the bottom 3 and never really getting any points

or

2. Playing in the Championship, winning every week and always in the top 3 for the season

Some may so.. that is one the most ridiculous statements ever to be made, but it some ways its a valid point because point 1 is in most cases what happens to teams that get promoted from the championship.. we said last year getting promoted would be awesome but I think most of knew in the back of our heads that with that particular team.. it would be an uphill struggle all season

As we come into the last week of the transfer window.. as I said yesterday this is going to be a critical week for our season.. because we need new players and as Davies bangs on about every week ' the real team' will show up in September when the new signings are here.. I hope this is certaintly the case and we start to perhaps gain some points here and there!!!

Another point from yesterday's game.. I think for the first time, Howard was absoloulty dominated in the air by both Ridgewell and Jaidhi.. ermm which begs the question that me n papa were discussing.. if he is dominated in the air like that.. is any use having in the team if that is the case?.. obviously im not saying droppin him but im just raising the point

As you can tell.. im tryin to remain a bit positive about things.. its still early days yet but lets be realistic about it as well

Good to see everyon'e on suicide watch already

This season won't be as enjoyably as last season because we won't be winning every week, but I'd rather we we're here than still in the Championship, you can just as easily struggle the next season staying in that division, as we know ourselves.

I'm really struggling to be positive at the moment, personally think we pass the ball well, on Soccer Saturday they said we had all the possesion, but we've got no quality to do anything with that possesion...we've been needin 4 or 5 new players for 3 bloody weeks, and time is now running out.

Like Durkos has said the next 3 games it's hard to see where we even get a point, and 1 point from 7 games will leave is deep in the shit.
