Premiership football returns to Derby

Well done Derby, hope you can survive and spend the money well.

Our clubs share an apparent rivalry, but im not really bothered, well done.

This season has been my first proper one on XT and the football league forum has been one of my favourites, with the busiest forums been the leeds one and the derby one. We both go our seperate ways and i wish all you derby fans well. Hope to meet you in one of the cups.

Good luck visiting the big grounds again, hopefully youll be waiting for us in 2 years when we return :smileani:

You finished 3rd and well too, the drama of this season has been unparalled both at the top and the bottom and when davies left preston for " a bigger club", i honestly thought hed made a mistake and i have preston fans as mates, they werent very happy, but hes proved them wrong and taken you to the big time.

A piece of advice : Enjoy it

Well done Derby

Many congratulations! Especially to Jimbo Jones, who has done so much for the Leeds forum over the years.
Enjoy it, you are back where you belong.

Thanks guys, I fully intend to enjoy next season, hopefully we can do what we did last time, and get some solid mid table finishes in

Well certain people want too right us off like we're a Watford, and we're not, I think the surprises may start when Gadsby opens the cheque book, there's still idiots out there who think we're 50 million in debt

Its Wigan, Fulham, Birmingham and them lot that Derby need to compete with.

It'll be tough no doubt but I just have a funny feeling that they'll survive next season unfortunately.

If Carlsberg did forum signatures......

I'm under no illusions of it being easy, but there's some planks, mostly seems to be Villa fans for some reason who seem to think we're going to get thrashed every week, but that's what they said last time, and we made them eat there words

You wont get thrashed, i mean watford this year, i cant remember them getting a big beat really, i mean 4-0,5-0 style. They got hit with injuries, which is something you cant afford.

Also i think you have a good squad morale which will help, i like what reading did, signed championship players, ie that seoul guy.

Yeah, the togetherness and fighting spirit of the squad is what got us up, Davies has already publicly said, any new signings will have too fit in with the current squad mentality, or their no good for Derby County.

We don't want any big time Charlies, just coming to pick up a pay cheque, that's where we went wrong last time.
