Championship Predictor

With 17 games left to play (for most teams anyway)

Done from the thing on the BBC website, using absolutely no bias whatsoever

Pos. Team GD Pts

1. Derby 30 101
2. Birmingham 46 96
3. Preston 28 93
4. Southampton 36 92
5. West Brom 38 91
6. Stoke 18 75

7. Plymouth 9 73
8. Colchester 18 71
9. Sheff Wed 5 70
10. Sunderland 3 62
11. Leicester -3 61
12. Hull -6 61
13. Cardiff -4 57
14. Burnley -4 55
15. Wolves -13 55
16. Luton -19 52
17. C Palace -9 51
18. Ipswich -11 49
19. Barnsley -22 48
20. Southend -24 46
21. Norwich -27 45

22. Coventry -27 44
23. QPR -25 41
24. Leeds -37 35

Wonder how close I will get, more with positions than points, apart from my bias with Derby I think i've gernerally been too generous too the top 5.

I think the generosity jimbo has shown there is all to see, but can 100 points be achieved??

on this current form, I wouldn't argue with anyone... The form we are showing now is promotion form, I mean you try and look if we are going to go through a bad patch, you could argue losing on Boxing day at home to Wolves was a damp squid but then to reply with an away win at Preston was just amazin, especially based on the sound home form!!

There will be another game like Wolves though were we lose a game you don't expect, same goes for the other top teams, but it's hard to predict them games.

We we're the first team to beat Southend in 6 games, and we we're fairly lucky to get the win, I wouldn't be overly surprised if they stayed up, but if I just sat down and made a table of the top off my head I'd probably have put them in the bottom 3.

That's the beauty of the predictor thing, you can surprise yourself.

We won't win in the play offs, Derby and Davies are both play off failures

I changed our 2 games with Brum and Southampton from draws to defeats, all it did was move Southampton above Preston . . .

can't see Southend surviving.

Oh,oh... what I didn't know so far is that the season end on the 6th of May. What!? 3 months without football. And no NT tournament inbetween. Oh come on...

Yeah, ok... the play offs. I forgot them. But do you think there's a confederations cup this year? I don't find anything about it. And I also forgot the U21 tournament, that's interesting, although Germany is not in it. Unfortunately.
