Wolves v DERBY (@ Molineux 12.09.06)

Oh how we need a win.

oh we need a good defensive performance.

oh how Durkos's mate Howard needs a goal.

oh how Lupoli needs to play up front.

oh how Bolder needs to play from the start.

Doubt I'll get any of those wishes though

Sorry lads. not looking too good, is it?
You never know with Derby, the games you think we've got no chance we usually do quite good in.

We need to find a formation and a team that works though, it will be all changes again tomorrow I reckon.

Wolves are a 1-0 team, as are all Mick McCarthy teams, so I'm not worried about being blown away...but do worry about us losing 1-0.

Tough game, we never seem to win there either, a point would be a good result, we can't afford to lose 3 games in a row.

No, one of those places we seem to never do well at, we have had a few draws though, it was 1-1 when I went there, same again will do me, stops the losing streak at least. Howard to score so I can tell Durkos "I told you so"

I'll be listening to the game on the radio at work...1st and only other time I did that this season was also a Midland derby...and we lost 2-0 too Stoke, as long as it's not that again, though Derby have a habit of embarassing me at work

Wolverhampton Wanderers v Derby (Home 8/11 Draw 11/5 Away 7/2)

Wolves defender Charlie Mulgrew has bounced back from an ankle knock and is in contention to play.

The Scot was replaced by Mark Little 44 minutes into his Wanderers debut in the 1-0 win at Leeds on Sunday but has declared himself fit to face the Rams.

Jay Bothroyd is poised to start alongside livewire striker Jemal Johnson, after the former Charlton man's blockbuster at Elland Road.

Derby defenders Darren Moore and Richard Jackson are pushing for recalls for The Rams' trip.

Moore is in contention after overcoming a hamstring injury, while Jackson is back in training following a calf problem.

Midfielder Bob Malcolm is also hopeful of playing some part having watched the 2-1 defeat by Sunderland from the bench.

Skysports.com prediction: 1-1

Quite surprised Sky fancy us for the draw.

surprised? i am shocked.

As I see it, it's a big opprtunity for the wolves to get easy three pts at home and keep their good start going.

Hope that Hull beat leicester and put pressure on both (foxes and the rams).

As for QPR, difficult to see them get much from the home game against Birmingham, still predicting a 1-1 draw.

Bartle, you support Roma? You never post in our forum, or at least rarely because I dont remember you doing so.

Anyway best of luck Derby here. A point would be good.

I predict 1-1. Howard.
