DERBY v Norwich (@ PPS 19.08.06)

Tough game this one, they've started quite well, and Earnshaw's pace is worrying me with our defence, I think we'll need to score more than one to win the game, and I wouldn't be disappointed with just 1 point to be honest.

But the lads should be confident now, so who knows, maybe they can put on a big performance.

Has Riley been dropped from the Premiership???

I had hoped with the Prem kicking off this week, that would see an end to clowns like this guy and D'urso refereeing our games.

Robert Green has been sold too West Ham, so it will probably be Paul Gallacher will be in goal.

One of my favourite football memories is when Green came out too clear a ball from outside the 18 yard box, at Pride Park and completely missed it, and then scrambled back to try and stop the ball going in, but failed.

It was hilarious, and with it being at the south end of the stand, we gave him some right stick, but he took it all in and even played up too it a bit.

Another game, and more question marks over what the team might be, I hope we get Lupoli in and can play 4-4-2...my team for this week would be.

Bywater

Leacock - Moore - Johnson - Nyatanga

Smith - Barnes/Idiakez - Oakley - Smith

Howard - Lupoli/Barnes

Though if we don't get Lupoli in for this game, I might think about going with the, same front 6 as the Hull game....

- - - - - Idiakez - Oakley - Seth

Barnes - - - - - - - - - - - - Smith. T

- - - - - - - - Howard

Fullbacks need changing, but things I hear about Camara don't fill me with confidence, Leacock looked alright though, so Nyatanga in, and he can swap with Johnson if Earnshaws pace is causing us trouble through the middle.

the team looks great but Norwich will be a tough side to beat. Home game and I expect another minimal victory of 2:1

Derby v Norwich (Home 5/4 Draw 9/4 Away 7/4)
New signings Mo Camara and Arturo Lupoli are expected to make their Derby debuts when Norwich visit Pride Park.

Camara, who joined from Celtic, was ineligible to play in the 2-1 win at Hull last weekend but the Guinean international is expected to start at left back.

Lupoli joined The Rams on a loan deal from Arsenal and the striker is likely to begin the match from the bench.

Nigel Worthington could name an unchanged side for the fourth game running after last week's exciting 3-2 win over Luton.

The Norwich manager's only injury doubts surround Peter Thorne, who suffered a hamstring strain in training, Ian Henderson (groin) and Rossi Jarvis (thigh).

Skysports.com prediction: 1-1

0:0 at halftime, Howard has had plenty of chances as Derby are playing better

Oakley, Leacock and Jackson are all injured and that's why they weren't involved, but it was still a big surprise too see Bisgaard and Peschi start.

We played very well 1st half, Howard hitting the bar was the best chance, but Norwich looked more likely too score 2nd half, the defence looks a lot more solid though, Bywater has made a big diference. Lupoli never really had a chance in front of goal, it was mainly Norwich attacking by the time he came on, but he worked hard, definately positives too take out of the game.

Next 2 league games are Colchester away then Sunderland at home, the 2 teams without a point so far, let's hope we're not the ones to give them their 1st points.

6 points from them 2 games would see us in a very good position.

Rams duo Giles Barnes and Mo Camara made the Coca-Cola Championship Team of the Week for their performances in Saturday's 0-0 draw against Norwich City.

Left-back Camara, 31, was making his Derby County debut after signing from Celtic the previous week and put in a strong performance at both ends of the pitch.

Barnes, 18, started on the right of midfield and proved a constant danger to the Norwich ranks with numerous probing runs and clever passes.

Barnes would have ripped them apart, if the shyte ref, nevr allowed Norwich too kick him all over the park.
