Hull v DERBY (@ the KC 12.8.06)

Well, time to look onwards and upwards, I wanna forget about last night, not that I will be allowed too 3 points on saturday will make me feel better though.

Hull have had a bad start 0 points on the board and threw away a 2 goal lead at home too Barnsley last night, so we can get something out of this one surely...hopefully some more new faces as well.

You should get the three points. It´s going to be a bad start for Hull this time.

btw, what I wanted to ask... is that you on the pic in your avatar?

tricky away test but Hull have been struggling so far early in the season. I think it will be a low scoring game, 1:0 for Derby

Hmmm I must admit my usually optimistic attitude can't help but think, that we will lose this game, I know its not a positive frame of mind, but I think we might just pecked 1-0!!!!!!!!!

Important to get 3 points really, a win and it's an ok start, if we lose it will look a terrible start, and Norwich at home next week will not be easy either.

Yeah, much like last season we've not been given the toughest opening month, Colchester following Norwich too finish the month, so it's important, we get a good number of points, as Ted McMinn always says on the Radio, we don't want another bad start, and too be paying catch again all season.

Hull v Derby (Home 11/8 Draw 11/5 Derby 13/8)
Phil Parkinson has yet to notch a point since taking charge and has a slimmed down squad to choose from for the visit of Derby.

Tigers centre half Damien Delaney is out of the game after hurting his ankle in training and will undergo an exploratory operation on Monday.

Recent signing David Livermore is not yet fit for his debut, while Ian Ashbee, Danny Coles and Steven McPhee are all injured.

In contrast, Derby have no injury worries as Rams boss Billy Davies looks for an improved showing on the midweek setback at Stoke.

Dean Leacock, signed for £375,000 from Fulham, could be handed his debut in defence for the visitors.

Skysports.com prediction: 1-2

You will sneak this one 1-0 I reckon, courtesy of a Steve Howard header in the 62nd minute... now there's a prediction for you!

6-5... Burley didn't worry about having an abysmal defence and it worked then, so why not again.

In all seriousness....Prediction: 2-1 to the super Rams!!

I just can't see us keeping a clean sheet, we should be able to get goals, hopefully Barnes will be fresh again, I think the 2 games in 2 days was too much for the young lad, will once again be interesting too see what the team is.
