Loan Watch

A thread too keep track of our players out on loan, i'm interested too see what they do, especially Ainsworth, and Holmes and Doyle, are two I think we could be looking to sell at the end of this season.

Currently out on Loan

Lee Holmes - Bradford City
Nathan Doyle - Bradford City
Lionel Ainsworth - Bournemouth

And Davies wants more to go out and gain experience.

Bradford play Forest today so hopefully our boys do well against those scummers

Bournemouth play Chesterfield.

Well it was defeats alround, our boys couldn't stop Bradford losing 1-0 too Forest.

Holmes started and came off and Doyle came on as sub.

Ainsworth played 1st half on the right wing, and 2nd half as striker, as Bournemouth were thrashed 3-0 by Chesterfield, but reading the report he didn't seem to do to bad himself.

I can see us selling Holmes to be honest, Davies is the 4th manager who has not seen him as part of the first and bringing in Smith a left winger of the same age, makes me think he could be sold if someone comes in with an offer.

Lionel Ainsworth has suffered a hamstring injury only three games into his loan spell at Bournemouth.

The 18-year-old Derby County winger is with the League One club until January 1 but hobbled off during Bournemouth's defeat by Leyton Orient on Saturday.

"Hamstrings are notoriously difficult to diagnose. It could be a couple of weeks but it could be longer," said Bournemouth manager Sean O'Driscoll.

Hopefully it will just be a couple of weeks and he can get back to playing.

Holmes has started all 3 of Bradfords games this season, Doyle has come on as a sub in all 3.

Bradford City are already hoping to extend the loan spells of Rams pair Lee Holmes and Nathan Doyle.

The 19-year-olds have joined the League One club until November but Bradford want them for six months or even the whole season.

"It might be something we will look at before our Carling Cup tie against Carlisle next week because at the moment they are not allowed to play in that tie," said chairman Julian Rhodes.

Lionel Ainsworth should be back in action sooner than expected following a hamstring injury.

The Derby County striker is on loan at League One club Bournemouth.

He was during the Cherries' 3-2 defeat by Leyton Orient but a scan showed the muscle strain was not severe.

Ainsworth is expected to be fit again in less than a month.

It's good Ainsworth will be able to get back playing with Bournemouth, hopefully he'll start scoring goals when he's back playing as well.

Bradford City have extended the loans of Derby County pair Lee Holmes and Nathan Doyle until the New Year.

Holmes (pictiured) and Doyle initially joined The Bantams for a three-month loan spell earlier this month, but Valley Parade boss Colin Todd has opted to keep both players for the rest of the calendar year.

The pair have made an impact to Bradford's impressive start to the season, with the West Yorkshire club currently sitting third in the League One table.

"This sends out the right message that we are trying to go forward," Todd told the Bradford Telegraph & Argus.

"We have got something going at the football club and I don't want to break that up.

"The dressing room is brilliant at the moment and the other lads would be very disappointed if it got to November and we had to let the two of them go.

"They are both great characters despite being only young lads and have that something about them."

Holmes and Doyle both started as Bradford lost 2-1 too Brentford. Holmes hasn't scored yet, so it seems he can only score with an England shirt on

Nathan Doyle played as Bradford drew with Carlisle 1-1 last night, Holmes wasn't in the squad, not sure why.

Bradford are currently 10th in the league.

Forget about our latest loans out...Camp hasn't played yet, but Norwich have conceeded 6 goals int heir last 2 games, so he could be due a chance.

Paul Thirwell came on as a sub as Carlisle drew 1-1 with Northampton on saturday and did enough too get a starting place on Tuesday night as they drew with Bradford (Thirwell v Doyle) so he's made a good start, maybe a deal waiting to happen in January
