The fixtures are out Thursday morning at 10am.

No Forest game to look out for again...useless c***s

So I'd say the Birmingham games are the 2 I'll be most looking out for, as well as Stoke and Leeds.

Also the newly promoted teams, wouldn't mind one of the them first game of the season, either home or away, maybe Barnsley, I'm sure we'd take a big following up there on the opening day which would be great!

Yeah if we play Preston any time in August it will have some spice too it, it will do anyway, but the sooner we play them, the less time those tosers have to calm down

First known fixture of the season...1st round of the Carling Cup.

The Rams will travel to Stockport County in the first round of the 2006/07 Carling Cup.

Wednesday lunchtime's draw paired Billy Davies's Derby with Jim Gannon's League Two side for a game to be played during the week commencing Monday August 21.

Derby were one of the 18 seeded teams in the northern section and will face the Cheshire side for the first time since January 1993, when Stockport were beaten 2-1 at the Baseball Ground in the third round of the FA Cup.

Their last trip to Edgeley Park came in December 1956 for a Division Three (North) game that the home side won 3-2.

The full Rams v Stockport record is as follows:

FA Cup

League Cup

Elsewhere in the draw, Accrington Stanley - promoted after winning the Nationwide Conference last season - host Nottingham Forest, while Conference play-off winners Hereford United host Coventry City.

Chesterfield are at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The sort of place I would love to go...if anyone else would go and I could get time of work of course...typically the week after I have the whole week off, but not that week...

First game home too Southampton, Burley coming back, should attract a big crowd, and a decent game too kick off with, first away game Stoke (we always play them on night games, and Wolves as well ) I'll have too see if I can get that off work.

Game which sticks out the most for me is, Leeds home last game of the season, what a way too finish

Preston at home in September, and away on New years day.

Away trip too Colchester in August and Southend in January, and too Birmingham in March, quite a few games I'm looking forward too, can't wait for it too start now

A very interesting first game of the season. The return of Burley to Pride Park, I wonder what kind of reception he will get from the fans. I mean from my point of view, I think the way he left the club will over-shadow what a excellent job he did with the team .

Also the first game of 2007, will be against Preston which might be an interesting one, also the away trip at Birmingham will be very interesting, as I will be making my first away trip hopefully watching Derby in the Championship!!!!!!:smileani:

Derby County will kick off their 2006/07 Coca-Cola Championship campaign in front of the Sky TV cameras.

The opening day clash against Southampton has been put back a day and will now take place on Sunday August 6, with a 4pm kick-off.

Last season's corresponding fixture between the Rams and the Saints also took place on a Sunday when a dramatic 2-2 draw was played out in front of a Sky TV audience.

The game at Plymouth Argyle, originally scheduled for Saturday October 14, has also been moved for TV.

It will now be played on Sunday October 15, with a 1.15pm kick-off.

Two of Derby County's first three Coca-Cola Championship games of 2006/07 will now be shown on Sky TV.

The game away at Hull City, on Saturday August 12, has been selected for live TV coverage and will now kick off at 5.30pm - moved back from the original 3pm start.

Definately won't be going too Hull then, been already anyway, and all the way down too Plymouth for a 1:15 kick off on a sunday...I don't f'ucking think so, that's ridiculous.

Also had a feeling the Southampton game might be on Sky, with it being the return of Burley, though I thought Birmingham v Colchester might get it, strangely they've only been chosen for one live game so far, whereas we have 3...we must give Sky good facilities or something...

Derby County's Coca-Cola Championship game at home to Burnley has been moved forward by 24 hours.

The Pride Park clash was originally scheduled to take place on Wednesday January 31 2007.

But it will now go ahead on Tuesday January 30, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

And the Rams' game away at Sunderland in February has been selected for live coverage on Sky Sports.

It was due to take place on Saturday February 24 but has now been put back by two days to the Monday night, and will kick off at 7.45pm.

Davies has finally got his way with Tuesday mid week games, and no chance I'll be going too Sunderland on a Monday night, doubt I would have gone anyway, So Sky haven't pissed me of for once

Derby County will have a date with the TV cameras in March after their home game against Colchester United was moved forward.

The Coca-Cola Championship clash against George Williams's men was due to take place on Saturday March 3.

But it has been moved forward a day for coverage by Sky Sports and will now take place on Friday March 2, kicking off at 7.45pm.

The game will be Derby's second live TV outing that week as they are also being covered by Sky when they travel to Sunderland on Monday February 26.

Thanks Sky, it's alright I didn't want to go anyway...****ing arseholes.

Derby County's Coca-Cola Championship trip to Birmingham City in March has been selected for live coverage on Sky Sports.

The St Andrew's encounter has been moved back a day and will now take place on Friday March 9 as it shapes up to be a game between two of the division's top sides.

Birmingham currently sit top of the table but Derby are now only three points behind them after the New Year's Day win at Preston North End.

The clash will kick off at 7.45pm.

It will be the Rams' third successive Sky game, on the back of a trip to Sunderland (Monday February 26) and home match against Colchester United (Friday March 2).

The home game against Queens Park Rangers has also been moved forward by 24 hours and will now take place on Tuesday March 13 (7.45pm)

Football used to be a saturday afternoon affair

I went too Sheff Utd on a friday night a couple of seasons ago, but I was lucky that I already had that whole week booked off, too just book a friday night off at my place is near impossible unless you've got a nice pair of tits...
