DERBY v Burnley

These have been shyte since selling Akinbiyi so there's 3 points for the taking, though if we don't get a striker in, and Lisbie's not fit, I'll worry we're the goals are going to come from.

Well the reason for his exclusion from the reserve match yesterday was injury, but hopefully he will join your lot. It would be great for him and possibly for Derby.

These are the games which need to be won, to take us away from the bottom 3, if we lose games like these we could easily find ourselves in trouble again, hopefully that won't happen.

It's also interesting that our last 2 home games are Hull and Sheff Wed, could be huge relegation games still, in a strange way, I'd quite like them still to be that, it makes for big games and big attendances to be remembered, rather than the season just fades out into nothing.

Dave Galley and his medical team have been treating injuries to Inigo Idiakez (thigh), Kevin Lisbie (hamstring), Thomasz Hajto (back), Darren Moore (groin) and Paul Peschisolido (thigh).

The two Johnsons are still a while away from recovery as well, the only bit of good news on the injury front, is Richard Jackson is back in training.

Think Mcindoe will come straight into the side, him on the left, Smith on the right, with Holmes as the cover, it probably spells the end for Bisgaard.

Still unsure whether Lisbie is fit, too play up front, we could be getting someone else in though.

I think your right, I must admit since Burley left last year, he's not really been the constant threat he was last year. He had a few good games for us, but half the time he was very slow and very uncommited, which was ashame!!!

I dunno if it was uncommited, he was a confidence player, when he lost his confidence this season you could see it straight away, his head was down, Mcindoe and Holmes are the future anyway.

Full confidence for a win tomorrow, can see us attacking them and coming out 3-1 winners, hopefully I'm not disappointed.

I must say the loan signing of Mcindoe, has raised my sprits sligtly. I think we will win the game comftably against a burnley side, which as no confidence at the moment at all. Im gonna have to tip, Mcindoe to get a debut goal, 2-0 to the Rams!!!!!!!!!!

The thing that's worrying me, is everyone seems to think we're going to win, and I'm not just talking Derby fans, it would be typical of us too go and lose now

I hope I'm wrong though.

Derby leading 3-0 before halftime, very surprising I must say but lets hope for a few more goals

Just a brief statement as I need to go out celebrating by drinking much alcohol.

But, absolutely fantastic, especially Barnes and Mcindoe, and Bolder, idiakez and smith, oh and lisbie, and the defence didn't do badly either.

We have a good squad, we nedd a good board room behind us too take us forward, bring in Gadsby and co and we will be back in the premiership sooner rather than later.

What a great result!!!!, I know Burnley aren't in the greatest of form, but you can only beat who has been put in front of you and we certaintly did that today. I also honeslty believe that with hopefully with a new board in charge, that we could be going places next year!!!!

If we keep the players like Mcindoe, Smith, Barnes and Nyantanga, I can't see no reason why we cant challenge for the playoffs next year!!!

Player ratings time...

Lee Camp - 7 - Didn't have a lot too do all game, whatever he did have, he dealt with comfortably.

Marc Edworthy - 8 - Best game in a Derby shirt, pick of the defenders for me, nothing got past him all game.

Alan Wright - 8 - get him untill the end of the season at least, despite being 4 feet tall, he still comes out of most challenges on top, and his distribution is good.

Lewin Nyatanga - 8 - He and the rest of the defence never put a foot wrong all game, never looked like conceeding a goal.

Darren Moore - 8 - Solid lie the rest of the defence, and what a header for the goal, I don't think I could kick a ball that hard

Tommy Smith - 9 - Great pace and energy, in the right place too tap in the goal, nearly scored a wonder goal in the first half, after a great run and curling shot.

Giles Barnes - 9 - Even more pace and energy than Smith, forget Nyayanga, Holmes or Camp, in Derby this is the lad were all talking about, the guys awesome.

Inigo Idiakez - 9 - Played more advanced today, ansd it's how it should be killerpassers, and surging runs at the defence, and deadly from set pieces as always.

Adam Bolder - 9 - Superb yesterday, won everything in midfiled, was so confident in the second half, he didn't just win the bal, he won it and did turns Ronaldinho would be proud off to then get away and start an attack, Seth Johnson will be strugglingto get back in the team.

Michael Mcindoe - 9 - Great ball too set up the first goal, he always wants the ball, always willing to try a trick or two, we want him signed on asap! before someone else snaps him up.

Kevin Lisbie - 8 - Very good and unselfish header across goal, too give Smith a tap in, made good runs as well, some times a bit to depp I thought , but at least that shows he's looking for the ball.

Holmes, Thirwell and Peschisolido all came on at the end, didn't have much time, but slotted in well.
