Coventry v DERBY

Should be making the fairly short trip down the road to Coventry, it's our first first too the new Ricoh arena as well, and we won 5-1 last week, so despite all the board out stuff, I'd expect a good turn out from the fans.

We're on level points as well, so a win would be a big result, these are the games we must win, to make sure we don't get into a relegation battle.

I think we can beat the sky blues this time, i mean last time we were beaten what was it? 6-1 or summat , but i suppose they were on a high cause it was the last game at highfield road. They've got nothing much to be on a high now, so i'll think we can a get a result...1-0 Derby

6-2, we were unlucky to be going there that day, if we had played them any other week we'd have beaten them last season, the way we played away from home.

I think that result didn't really mean that much to either team really, as we got safely through to the playoffs and it was thier last home game at Highfield road, our defence was shocking their last year and am I right in thinking that was Konjic's last game for the club?

We should be goin to the new ricoh area, and be looking to get at least a point, we should be avoiding defeat against a pretty average Coventry side!!

I want all 3 points, these are the teams we need to be beating, the players should be full of confidence as well, we need a run of wins now, 3 at least to get us up into that mid table comfort zone.

I agree with you Jimbo, but will Brown revert to his favourite formation, the good old trusty 4-5-1?

If he goes back too 4-5-1 after the Crewe performance the fans will go mad, some are still not happy with his management now, that would be it for him, in some peoples eyes.

If we sig that Polish striker he might go 4-4-1 as Browm said he was impressed with how he played the role in a freindly, but as Neil said, a lot of fans would go mad if he did that....surely he won't??

Andrew Davies is back from suspension for this game, IMO he goes straight back in for Kenna, there's nothing to think about, Kenna is past it, he might be alright too fill in for the odd game, but not a long run of games.

It's finally getting sorted out, after being let down by the people I originally was going to Coventry with, and considering going on my own, I've found some people I can go with

Though I should point out I 've been to 5 away games this season, we've drew 1 and lost 4 of them....well they owe me a win then

Just reading a Phil Brown interview that has me a tiny bit worried, he says changing back too 4-5-1 after the Crewe result would be a brave decision, but he's there too make brave decisions.

Oh dear, I hope he's not hinting, he'll come in for some right stick if he does change back.

Hm, don´t think that Derby will make it into the play off. After a 5-1 win you shouldn´t lose 1-4 in the next game if you want to get into the play offs.

ehhh not a way to follow a 5-1 win but Crewe at home is totally different than Coventry away. Realistic result sadly, Derby should just be happy with a midtable finish, I still feel we have to give Brown a chance, no use in sacking him.

I have been impressed with the way Peschy has been playing, unbelievable that he wasn't a regular at the start of the season

ha! ha! Ha! ..................
