Cardiff v DERBY

Would have liked too have gone to this one, too stand on the terrace, but I'm going to have to do my christmas shopping this weekend as I haven't done any yet, so i'll be giving it a miss.

Cardiff are doing surprisingly well up there in 5th, but we beat them 2-1 at home early in the season, and I see no reason why we can't beat them again if Seth or Bolder get on top of Koumas.

I'm bk from Uni this weekend, for the christmas period which is nice, but I think thats very poor excuse from jimbo, why he aint going, its almost as bad as Ted's excuse last week on Radio Derby, but enuff of that...

I have to say, we should go there looking to win the game, but knowing brown's boring away tatics, we will sit back and play for the draw. He should just look at a away game last year on video, or pro-zone or whatever, and see how we played this year, then he might get some sense knocked into him

There is also the fact that nobody else is going, it's not just me, and as I have me christmas shopping to do anyway, I can't be arsed trying to persuade people to go, instead I'm trying to get people to go Milwall, but some p'ussy boys are to scared to go

What about you Durks, will you still be on your xmas hols on the 2nd Jan and fancy a trip too the new Den, or are you another p'ussyboy

You never know there could be another pitch invasion

Team for Saturday -

I'd like to see Seth and Danny Graham come in, for Thirwell and Blaclstock, I think Seth will come in, but I'm not sure whether Graham will get in, nothing else needs changing, with Bisgaard at his best, in instead of Tudgay, that would be our best team. It may be time to recall Bisgaard but I'm not sure.

I'd much rather stay safe and listen to it in the comfort of my own home, thanku jimbo. I would like to seth straight back into the side for Thirlwell, erm perhaps bring Danny Graham in for Blackstock?, we will have to wait and see to what Brown's team is like on Saturday

Stats for Derby v Cardiff....there not very good really, they've got a big lead over us in victories.

We've won 12 games, they've won 20, and there's been 10 draws, we beet them 2-0 at Ninian Park last season, was a great game, the same again would be nice.

I'm a sensible boy, who puts his life first!!!!!. I think the reason we have a poor record, is probably due to our, hopelessness during the early and mid 80s

lol sensible boy. Well i think we ain't gonna get anything from there. It will be 2-0 Cardiff i think. We just managed a 1-1 draw last week which signals to me that maybe it's time for a bit of a poor spell again.

Thats one game Neil, how can you judge a bad run of form from gaining a draw, vs a very good Preston, c'mon mate sort yourself out, I don't think we will lose tomorrow, jus havn't decieded whether we will get a point or manage to get all 3 tomorrow

Schoolboy Matt Richards has been drafted in to Derby County's first-team squad for today's Championship clash against Cardiff City at Ninian Park.

The midfielder, who turned 16 at the start of this month, impressed manager Phil Brown during Thursday's FA Youth Cup third round victory over Cogenhoe United.

"Matt did very well and so he'll be with us at Cardiff to give him a little taste of what it is like to be around the first team," said Brown.

"He will not be involved in the game but these things are good for experience and it is a little reward for him."

Richards, a pupil at Littleover Community School, will be driven to Cardiff by Academy manager Terry Westley and join the squad for their pre-match meal and preparations.

This week has been a memorable one for the Derby-born youngster as he also helped England Under-17s to a 1-0 victory over Turkey on Tuesday.

Good to see Brown doing this with the youngsters, the forward Karl Ashton should be the next one, he thinks about taking along

Phil Brown has backed Dextor Blackstock to play the lone forward role, so Danny Graham wont get his start up front yet. I'm sure he will play some part in todays game though.

Just been reading the Michael Johnson column in the paper, he says they had a penalty shoot out competition to find the new penalty taker, which Tommy Smith won. Also says Andrew Davies fancied his chances, but was told in no uncertain terms to leave the penalties to the other lads

Marc Edworthy is out with a niggling injury....again Bolder has been dropped it's the same everytime.

RAMS Camp, Jackson, M Johnson (C), Davies, Nyatanga, Smith, Idiakez, Thirlwell, Blackstock, Tudgay, S Johnson. SUBS Poole, Bisgaard, Bolder, Doyle, Graham

I think it is M Johnson at left back, Jackson right back, Nyatanga and Davies in the centre.

Cardiff 0 - 0 Derby

Not a lot too talk about really, been a boring game so far, wood be more than happy if we could sneak 1 goal and the 3 points though.

Well we could get the draw, Koumas is a worry though, I can see him getting a goal.
