Brighton v DERBY

We finally got a win, but it won't count for much if we don't get something from the Brighton game, there a team we should be looking to beat. No changes in the squad...maybe Michael Johnson on the bench if he's fit, but keep the same starting 11 that beat Stoke. And play like we did in the 2nd half, where Smith played much more of an attacking role.

There is no need for brown to change things at all!!!, a fantastic result at stoke, now we gotta keep this run going. If Michael Johnson is fit, they put him on the bench, along with bisgarrd, I like the 3 central midfielders, Idiakez, Thirlwell and Johnson, because they play togather in the middle of the park.
Lets go and attack Brighton from the get go

Brighton cannot defend ,but they do have some tricky forwards and wingers . If they're up for the game then you could be in trouble
A draw would be ok for you lot,but obviously I want you to win

Well if they can not defend, then we should be good for ay least 2 or 3 goals, that's one thing we can do, bang the goals, it's just a case of how many go in at the other end. I should think we will go 4-5-1 again as it got us a win, and we looked much more solid with Edworthy, Nyatanga, Davies and Jackson across the back, and like Durkos I liked the midfield trio as well, I always liked Thirwell, even if not many other Derby fas did, he's like a less agressive Seth Johnson, who can pass the ball better, and remember we've not seen him fully fit after a run of games yet.

Idiakez has problems with his groin again, he was a doubt for the Stoke game, but came through too play, he's a doubt again for this one, hopefully he will pull through again.

I've just been thinking, seems as Brighton play at an Athletics track, I very much doubt they will have under soil heating, and with the weather being absolutely freezing, and snow said to be on its way, already here in some parts on the country, I wonder wether there's any question of the game being called off.

I hope not we need to get straight back out there, after tuesdays good result, it would be a big disappointment if it was called off.

Good news about blackstock staying, but do this mean the mean for the "Stern" and Pesch, with tudgay, blackstock and graham being the main attacking options?. It just shows how poor Stern John is, he can't even get into the squad where he is on loan at.

By the way, R.I.P George Best, even though his off the field behaviours have been well documented, he still remains one of the most gifted footballers ever!!!!!!

Well well well Blackstock stays, John will be back to Coventry, and Peschi might have to find himself a new club, but we've thought that before, and then he gets a chance and grabs a few goals.

As long as Idiakez is fit too play it should be the same team Danny Graham on the bench and Michael Johnson too, don't know which 2 will get dropped from the squad, probably 2 of the youngsters.

I'm a bit more confident after that win at Stoke, and I'm sure we can get something from this game, we have done well against Brighton in recent seasons as well, we put 6 goals past them last season, hopefully we can win, but at least get a point.

But then what was the point of bringin Graham in, i thought the whole idea about bringin a player in on loan, was the improve your team and go straight into the side?. But putting that aside im gonna go for a 2-1 Derby win

Graham probably is better than Stern John The deadline for loans was yesterday i believe, and it was getting late on before it was confirmd Blackstock was staying, my guess would be Graham was brought in incase Blackstock did go back to Soton, because if he did we'd off not been left with much, and none of our youngsters trying to break through at the moment are strikers.

I'll see what the lad does, before I'll start saying whether he's good loan etc...

We can get the 3 points in this one, we need at the very least 1, or we will be right back where we started, in the shit.

25 minutes gone before the first shot, which Idiakez balloons high and wide. Still keep it tight and grab a goal for 1-0 and that will do me.

Half Time - Brighton 0-0 Derby

We've done nothing really, we need a 2nd half performance like the one at Stoke, we're not losing but Brighton are very beatable and we should be looking for the 3 points.

Not an exciting game, you wouldn't be greatly impressed if you went all the way down there, and the 2nd half is like the 1st.
