DERBY v Wolves

It might be another 12 days away, due to International games, but I just want to forget about the Sheff Wed game, so i'm starting this thread up.

Something to take notice of, Tom Huddlestone's first return to Pride Park, made his debut at the weekend for Wolves, and impressed. I wasn't devastated we sold him, but we did sell him too early, if we'd had let him develop with us we could have got more for him, now we have to wait on all sorts of diferent add on clauses to get any money

I must admit, i'm not particularly looking to this game, as the confidence at the club, must be at is lowest, since relegation from the Premiership nearly 5 years ago.

Well I don't about that, the 1st two seasons were bad as well, but Bisgaard himslef said, after the Wednesday game, it was the lowest he had ever felt while at Derby, but he also said he's confident things will turn around.

The man who needs to instal confidence, is the man with the tan. Now is toughest test, he has faced in his short managieriel carrer, he will either rise to the occasion or he will fall. Let's hope that he can rise to the occasion, and take us out of this awful run at the moment.

The kegend is on his way back, after playing 45 minutes in a behind closed doors match, he could be set for a return against Wolves, to sort all the problems.

ALL HAIL!!!!

Oh dear!!!!!!!!, well lets he can sort out the problems, within the catering department, within the stadium, like serving chips and burgers at half-time, because the queue's are huge. He can leave the playing department, I jus feel he is just a very very poor player, and wudn't help us out of this mess at the moment

Richard Jackson is back as well, surely you agree he can help the side out, he is a good solid full back, much better than Kenna, and Whittingham as well.

I'm much more glad Jackson is back than Boertien, he's a more solid defender than Kenna and Whittingham.

Yeah, in all seriousness, it's much better that Jackson is back, I just don't agree with all the harsh criticism Boerts gets.

Well if you were to watch any of the games, durin the first year when we got relegated, you would understand why I am so harsh on boertien, wingers used to beat him with ease, whilst not faulting his commitment, its just his skill factor is very weak.

In terms of jackson, hes a tidy little player in this league, but he would'nt in my mind, make the step up to the premiership, n also i must say, I have been a little disappointed in whittingham, as i was sayin he would be a good loan signing, he has been a very very average whilst he has been playing for us.

Whittingham aint stromg enough in the tackle too make it as a defender.

No point talking about the step up to the premiership, we're not in a position to be worrying about that.

I wouldn't pin any hopes on us at the minute though. I hope we thrash them though, Wolves fans make me sick, there 8th and 2 points of the play offs and they moan as if there bottom, one fan even didn't go too a home game, and he's a season ticket holder. They want to try being 19th and only won 1 in 14. :frustrat:

I was listnin to some match reports from last season, where was realli playin teams of the park left, right n centre, especially away from home. Especially the away success at Wigan, what a game!!!!
In terms of this friday, I don't really know how the team is going to respond on the sky camera's, if we go a goal down, that will test our charachter, we will respond positively or just buckle, like we so easily did vs Sheffield Wednesday. I'm hoping for all 3 points, but knowing Derby, it will be another draw. I don't think for one minute we will be involved in a relegation battle, we have too many decent players, for the drop

But I feel a win, would really be a confidence booster for the players, also I will be in SU bar, cheerin on the rams, hopefully, with a few wolves fans as well. So come on derby, do for good olde durkos!!!

In warm up too this game, Karl Ashton, Johnnie Jackson and Paul Thirlwell netted goals as Derby saw off Liverpool 3-0 in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Moor Farm.
