Crewe v DERBY

First game up after the sale of Rasiak, is Crewe away, stilla game we should be winning.

Surely we will have to change to 4-4-2, unless Tudgay goes up front on his own, which will not be good. I also hear (of steel neil) Tudgay has been arrested along with Chris Turner a youth player, for beating somebody up after a night out in derby. That's just what we need.

Anyway, for the 2 up front I think Smith and Peschisolido, put Seth Johnson left midfield, Bisgaard right. Not sure who too put in centre mid with Idiakez out of Thirwell or Bolder.

The team needs a win here, the fans are already unhappy with the board, a couple of defeats in a row now, and they really win be angry and venting their frustrations at the games, and even though it will be aimed at the board and not the team, it can't help the team to play in front of unhappy fans sending out 'negative' vibes.

We probably will, it seems only one East Midlands team can have a good season, while the others stuggle badly. Looks to me like it's Notts County's turn for a good one.

I still have hope we can do well though, but I always do, I'm deluded.

I think every fan can't wait for the game, so it can take our minds away from the strange happenings in the board room. Crewe away is a game we should be getting all 3 points from really, if not at the least a point, last year we best them 2-1 in what was probably onr of most important wins last season.

As for the team, i really hope he can get 2 new loan players in, before the game, because we only have 3 strikers, in smith, tudgay and pesch and with smith being used as winger, that means we have 2 strikers, who in my opinon who are average. Im hoping the team will give us fans the performance we derserve after being dragged through the mud in the past week

i predict the score will be a tight 1-0 win to the rams, with idiakez getting the goal

I think we could be relying on some Idiakez wonder free kicks this season, unless we get a new quality striker in, I wouldn't be surprised if Inigo was our stop scorer this season.

Lee Grant is out for 2 weeks with a fractured foot. That puts an end to the argument of who should play in goal....unless some people want Kevin Poole in goal.

Marc Edworrthy is still a doubt, as he's still recovering from his concussion.

Richard Jackson has picked up a groin injury, he's suspended for this game anyway, but could also miss the next game at home to Coventry.

Lewin Nyatanga could be needed for his league debut, with Mills gone to MK Dons, there's no-one else left.

Yeah, it really is getting worrying how thin our squad is now. But they reckon we could have four new players in on loan before the Crewe game. 2 today and another 2 tomorrow, all 4 players are from Premiership clubs, it'll be interesting too see who they are.

The general feeling seems to be that Seth Johnson will play at left back against Crewe ahead of Lewin Nyatanga. Johnson has filled in late on in games there, but is not a left back, I think I would rather see Nyatanga given a chance, but Brown seems to want to go with experience.

After all the mess in the transfer market and the week off I think Derby will get things on the right track with a 2-0 win

The fans are supposed to be protesting before the game, because it's on Sky, and folowing it up with a protest at the home game next Sunday against Southampton also on Sky. People are worried how this will afeect the team, I don't know, it shouldn't affect them too much IMO. We might sneak a win, but I can see us getting another draw 1-1.

A win for Derby would move them up to 5th

No new signings have appeared then, never mind the 4 that were talked about.

Surely we must go 4-4-2, i think the team will look like this,

Camp
Jackson-Johnson(m)-Davies-Johnson(s)
Bisgaard-Thirwell-Idiakez-Smith
Tudgay-Peschisolido

well it ends at 1-1 and Derby once again had a player sent off, Davies for a second yellow at the hour mark. Brown says the manager got in wrong against just like with Jackson's sending off against Watford.

Said it would be 1-1

Not seen any of the game, as I was playing myself this afternoon, I might get to watch a re-run on Sky tonight though.

Tommy Smith has been named in the football league's team of the week, keeping up our record of having a player in it every week so far this season

We must be doing something right then.

Yeah i thought Derby played well against Crewe. We were unlucky to fall a goal behind as we had most of the play before the goal. Awesome goal by Bisgarrd and Tudgay the pratt should have scored when he had that chance in the second half. Seth Johnson looked a bit out of place in the second half at left back which was understanable as he looked absolutely knackered as he ain't play hardly any full games for years...no doubt he'll get a grilling from durkos.
