Seth Sings!!!

Midfielder Johnson back with Rams

Johnson was a popular figure in his spell at Pride Park
Former Leeds midfielder Seth Johnson has rejoined Derby on a one-year deal.
The 26-year-old has spent the past week training with the Rams and proved his fitness to boss Phil Brown on Tuesday in a behind-closed-doors friendly.

Johnson joined Derby from Crewe for £3m in May 1999 and played 80 games before joining Leeds for £7m in October 2001.

But his Elland Road career was dogged by knee injuries, and his contract was terminated by mutual consent two weeks ago, leaving him free to join the Rams.

Wow thought it would take longer than this to sort.

Well done to the club for getting there act together and getting the deal done before any other clubs tried to get him.

Let's hope he can stay injury free now

Good stuff, hopefully he can return to form back at Derby, and stay injury free.

Was he out of contract at Leeds in the Summer?
Cant see why they let him go otherwise.

Hopefully he can regain his form for you guys.

No Leeds paid him off, 1 million I heard

Leeds wouldn't play him again because if he played one more game, they would have to go us £250 000.

So instead they settle is contract for a reported 1 million, and we get him on a free.

It just keeps getting better for us and worse for Leeds

I don't think you are Durkos, the squad is looking stronger than last year IMO and Brown still plans too add to it, so there's no reason why we can't be back up there again.

He will play or be on the bench, we'll have to see what Brown does with the starting line up tomorrow.

We will be back at Upton Park next season, don't you worry about that

Like the sig as well
