Brown's First Signing!

Brown's finally got his first man. Andrew Davies has joined from Middlesbrough on a season long loan.

And he's a centre back And he comes quite highly rated. He has Premiership and England u21 experience, and Championship experience with QPR on loan last season. Steve McLaren highly reccomends him.

A broken Leg in March 2004 halted Davies progress through the ranks at Boro, hopefully a good season with us will get him back in the frame...or even better we get promoted and he wants to make his stay long term

Derby have also got 3 players on trial. Artim Sakari the former West Brom midefielder who scored from a corner for Macedonia aganist England. Richard Edghill and Lindsay Wilson who used to play for PSV. I think he's a right back althought not 100% sure.

Yes it does, and Huddlestone was never really a defender, so hopefully Davies will be an improvement on our defence. Good start from Brown, everyone wanted a new defender in, and he has delivered

Yeah, don't partuculy want him, he's a full back i think, we've already got Kenna, Vincent and Jackson, johnson and Boertien can both play full back as can Davies, and we have interest in Marc Edworthy and Chris Makin.

I'd definately rather have the Aussie centre back signed than Edgehill.

Jason Koumas is good choice for us
But signing a denfence midfield is more important, right?

Yes, I think so. Adam Bolder is a good defence midfielder, but he's the only one we have, if he gets injured there's no replacement. We hav lots of Attacking midfielders, so yes defensive midfielder should be the next priority I think.
