New Kit by Joma

Officially announced today, that the new kit will be made by Spanish firm Joma. It's been common knowledge for quite some time, but was only officially announced today.

The first pics will be in the paper tomorrow, hopefully they will be put up on the website as well so I can put them up here!

Joma make Idiakez's boots, and also Deportivo La Coruna's, Sevilla and Charlton's kits. There looking to raise their profile in the UK, and so this season are doing ours and Cardiff City's new kits.

Joma, I know how they are designed because 5-6 clubs in Croatia have Joma shirts. I liked Errea but lets see how these come out.

Well, in the paper all they showed you was the club badge, like we didn't know what that looked like. :rollani:

It should be on sale soon though, the Rams Superstore is going through refurbishment at the minute though (where they getting the money for that from?) when that's finished and it reopens, the kit should b on sale, it's next week or the week after.

I thought I had found some pics of the new kit, but someone has made them on photoshop, he's done them on how it's rumoured they will look, and to be honest if they do look like this I will be very happy, especially with a black away kit!

Yes, they do look quite nice, everyone seems to want a black away kit, after we wore black training shirts against Brighton away last season, I think it would look nice and be a change.

RAMS POSTPONE SHIRT LAUNCH

Derby County has postponed the unveiling of its 2005-06 home kit following the tragic events in London on Thursday.

The club was due to launch its new Joma strip and announce its new main sponsor at a special Pride Park event on Thursday evening but has taken the decision to re-schedule the launch.

Operations director Paul Clouting said: "We feel it would be highly inappropriate for us to stage such an event against the backdrop of today's developments.

"Our thoughts must be focussed on those in London who are suffering following the tragedy.

"Our launch programme will be set back a few days and revised accordingly. This means pre-ordered shirts will now arrive later than anticipated and the opening of the new club retail outlet will be postponed. The decision has been taken with the agreement of our sponsor partners.

"We will keep our fans informed of the new launch dates and we hope they appreciate why we have felt it necessary to take this action."

The new kit is now on sale and here is a pic of it, it's only the home kit though, I've not found any of the away kit yet. I think it looks quite nice.

They all do that though, anyway I'm happy with it, best shirt we've had for a while IMO.

Now I just hope the away shirt is Black with a White Stripe, and I will be very happy with Joma.

Finally got round to getting the shirt this morning. It's been getting a lot of stick from some people, who are calling it the worse Derby shirt they've ever seen. I though think it's the nicest Derby shirt I have ever owned, and there's a lot of people who do like it.

There was a poll on one site, and it was splitt nearly 50/50 on people who liked it or hated it.

As long as it's got a Ram on it, it will do for me anyway

The first sight of the new away kit was seen yesterday, I'm told it is yellow and blue and not very nice, but I've not seen it myself, and can't find any pics at the moment.
