First Game home to Brighton, not bad a weaker team at home is want you want, and to be fair, we've got a fairly easy opening month, on paper.

First away, Preston on a Tues night. Don't see many making that trip, after the many games we had last year.

Something that has got me annoyed is nearly all our local away games are weekday night games. Leeds, Wolves, Stoke & Leicester.

Last game Sheff Wed at home....lets hope it's a big game!

season ends earlier than usual, I am guessing because of the World Cup? but I doubt many Championship players will be in the World Cup.

There could be quite a few, for the smaller nations...I think the main reason is so they can bring the FA Cup forward a week. So world cup players can leave earlier.

i must admite, i agree wit jimbo, on paper, our first month is reletiviely easy, with games againts, wot u wud call mid-table teams at best, but we dnt tend to do well agains these teams tho.
brigthon, preston, plymouth, cardiff, burnley and watford, apart from preston, not bein greedy we should be looking for at least 3 wins from those first 6 games, if form from last season is anything to go on?

Jimbo, Durkos and Steel Niel, are you guys season ticket holders or do you go to only some matches? I know Jimbo went to quite a few home matches and away matches while I'm stuck listening to them on the radio but I was able to watch one of their matches, the Fulham FA Cup

I'm a season ticket holder, got my new one for this season already. The other 2 are not though Neil did have someone else's season ticket for about the last 10 games last season, as one of my mates gave it up too him, but is not getting one this season...SHAME ON HIM! Durkos used too be a season ticket holder, wasn't last season, not sure if he's getting one this season.

No doubt, when I can't get too games, which tends too be quite often i.e most weekday games, Niel will be 1st in line too borrow my season ticket, the scrounger.

The game away to Leeds United has been moved from tuesday 27th september to wednesday 28 th september, due too police reasons

I don't see what diference it will make, maybe they need to borrow some police from Sheffield, because they know it will kick off

Wolves at home moved to Friday 18th, Novemeber, for Sky, so I most likely won't be able to go

I think I could be busy editing that fixture list

Told you I would be busy, 2 more changes on the official website.

Both moved for Sky TV

We now play Crewe away on Sunday september 11th, and the following Sunday it's Southampton at Pride Park on the 18.

With Wolves and the Preston game also on Sky, we have 4 matches televised in the 1st few months, good for TV moey I suppose, but probably not so for ticket sales.

We hardly seemed to play on a saturdau afternoon last season, and it looks like that will continue this season, I really hate Sky, there ruining the game.
