They have been for a while, but we're not letting them get anywhere near him :fero: At least I hope not. Wolves have been interested too, but seem to have concentrated more on trying to get Idiakez.

Jamie Vincent will play for QPR against Iran today, trying to impress and get himself a contract.

No surprise it's been expected he would make a move south.

We still have 4 full backs at Derby, even with 2 being released, we just had so many. due too injuries we had too get in replacements, and then with them all coming back to fitness, we had too many, soo some had too go.

Stumbled upon this on a website,

"Kanu has bought a house in derby, been talking 2 phil brown about a move & a contract is being sorted out after kanu has seen the delights off pride park"

Not seen anything about this on what I would call reliable sources though.

Tony Grant and Algerian striker Rafik Djebbour are currently on trial at Derby, neither are very impressive, but we need to sign someone because the squad is far too thin.

Fatboy Jeremy Kieth says giving extended contracts to Rasiak, Idiakez and Camp is why there hasn't been many new signings, and someone will have to go out to bring in someone new. We've already lost 6 players from last season, releasing someone to get someone else in will not solve the fact our squad is far too small.

Tony Grant has been released, but a second trialist is being kept on, Australian midfielder Carl Valeri.

We didn't want Grant it's good he has gone, don't know much about this Valeri.

From Sky Sports

Romania international Alin Stoica is reportedly on trial with Derby County.

The midfielder is aiming to resurrect his career in England, with reports in Belgium claiming Stoica is training at Pride Park.

Rams boss Phil Brown has been looking to add depth to his squad and is keen to assess the fitness of Stoica.

The 25-year-old has struggled with injuries during the past 12 months and is hoping to impress Brown over the coming days.

Stoica has been with three clubs during the past year, having cancelled his contract with Club Brugge last December.

He joined Siena on a six-month deal in January but quit the Italian club in April after failing to make an appearance due to a niggling injury.

The schemer then finished the season back in his homeland with National Bucharest but is now chasing a return to a major league.

FC Brussels were interested in taking Stoica back to Belgium but it is understood he is now training with Championship club Derby.

----------------------------------

An international midfielder sounds good......but we don't need another injury prone player, but if he's 100% fit he could be good.....not as replacement for Idiakez though.

Some good news for a change

Sunderland have got Le Tallec on loan from Liverpool and are set to sign 2 other strikers (Oper and Ralph) so it seems they have given up on Rasiak

Clubs must be worried about his fitness, he sounds worth taking a gamble on, as long as his wages aren't too high.

A signing of sorts...a physio, putting it in here, because it's not worth opening a new thread for. But Dave Galley, has come from Liverpool to be our new physio.

One of Jamie Vincent's former club's Bournemouth, are keen to take him back there on loan.

If he leaves manager Phil Brown says he hopes he will be replaced by a midfielder with premiership experience, who he has been in contact with.

With Seth Johnson, just being released from Leeds, rumours are flying around, that it is him we are after. Would be a good signing, I'd certainly welcome him back, he would have to take a big pay cut though.
