Just had a think about what our midfiled COULD look like....

Smith Idiakez Jordan Olufade

Two wingers, one said to be pacy, and Smith is no slouch and very good with the ball at his feet and taking people on, and spanish flair in the middle of the park. Sounds promising.

Oh and don't forget Bidgaard, Holmes and Bolder as replacements, sounds very good to me.

Derby are now interested in signing Michael Bridges. Sunderland have deicded to let him go and Briges admits his sunderland career is over. Bridges is set to snub a tempting offer to stay in the north-east with Hartlepool United to prove himself in the championship at pride park.

Hmmmm......i'm not sure about Bridges. He hasn't been able to capture his form he had when at leeds for several years now. He kinda reminds me of Francis Jeffers, had bags of potential but never was able to acheive it due to injuries etc.

He had a bad knee injury didn't he? And hasn't been able to get back to the form he had before it, though he hasn't been given many chances. If he came to Derby and was given that chance, maybe he could recapture his old form. He would definately be a good signing If h did that.

Im very concerned because ive read, that nor idiakez or rasiask played in the game vs chesterfield, does this mean that there on their way out?, i hope not, cause we would be losing our 2 most influential players
I hope im not reading into much into this, but it does get me a bit worried

Your reading to much into, a lot of players wouldn't have played in that behind closed doors match, I'd be more worried if they didn't play on saturday against Mansfield.

That Olufade has been let go, also Bonnal and Parmaxidis have been let go after suddenly appearing to play in a freindly.

Sakiri and Jordan both played aginst Chesterfield and are expected to play against Mansfield on saturday, so there is a chance one or both of them could be signing.

Yes, I'd heard he knew how to hit a ball, cracking goal that one, He'll be rivaling Idiakez in the long range goal contests

I think Paul Smith has gone somewhere else, because he was turned away at Derby.

Jaime seems to have impressed, and with Sakiri gone, I think he will be the midfielder too get a contract.

Chris Makin has joined Stoke City for there tour of Germany, so it looks like he won't be joining us, he did a good job last season, but with Vincent and Jackson back to fitness and Edworthy signed, I guess we don't need another full back.
