Best of 2002 - Top Sports Memories of the Year

Here are my top 5 Sports memories of 2002

1. June 10, 2002 - Singing Karaoke in a Taxi Cab, watching the US pull out a 1-1 tie with S. Korea in the Hotel Lobby, hitching a ride with a bunch of South African fans to the Portugal game, watching Portugal beat Poland in a downpour in Jeonju, and ending the day with a hot bowl of Korean Noodles - What more can one ask for in one day??
2. January, 2002 - Patriots win the Super Bowl
3. Sporting winning the Domestic Treble - League, Cup, and Super Cup.
4. June 5, 2002 - Listening to the American and Portuguese National Anthems prior to the USA-Portugal match in Suwon.
5. July, 2002 - Shooting a round of 86 for 18 holes (best ever).

Happy New Year's folks!

Dunno that was any worth mentioning considering they mercifully ended the match after the first round when the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals protested the beating on poor F1.

Bwahahahahaha When you repeatedly kick your self in the teeth with such unbelievable idiocy, do you even need an opponent?

You haven't grasped a modicum of a clue yet on how stupid you make yourself out to be, have ya? Priceless entertainment

It's the truth you hinted that you believed every church was part of a sex scandal.

Pila, are you at work too? I'm just about to leave now.

Happy New Year to you and also to F1 and everyone in the Portugal forum

The truth and your perception of it is something that has no hope of ever being the same thing.

However, your ability to continuously trip over the two is indeed an unique characteristic that entertains us all to no end.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

Yes, I am at work.

But is this really a Pila - F1 battle? Or is it just F1 repeatedly running into a brick wall with some minute encouragement from me?

Watch next how a simple comand from me will have him chase his own tail in endless circles.

I have been really sick for the last two months with liver problems, and I must commend Pila and F1 for really making me laugh these last few days. They say that laughter is the best medicine, and I'm feeling much better after reading their "battles". Thanks! My blood tests were really good yesterday, and I attribute it all to you guys (well, and a little bit to antibiotics). Keep it up.

RIO

You know the scene it's very hum-drum
And my favorite song's entitled "Boredom"...

Always glad to know I've contributed, even if only in some small way, to someone's health while enjoying the hell out of myself doing it.

Stick around, RIO, F1's entertainment is endless. Soon, your liver will be better than new.

Happy new year, and here's hoping to a speedy recovery (F1 willing)!

Do we have anyone who speaks imbecilic that can interpret this for me?

Appreciate it, thanks.

THanks for the mention, but that period of the year was the false sense of hope the year gave me when I thought both job and personal life were on the upswing. Kind of like the pleasant stream before it turns into rapids and tumbles over the waterfall.

As for me, I suppose my top five goes as follows:

1. Maryland wins national championship in basketball.
2. Sporting wins treble.
3. Dae finds soccer group and begins playing for first time in ages (rediscovers abs among other things)
4. Milan re-emerges as european and italian leage force thanks in no small part to Rui Costa.
5. USA and Mexico both play well in World Cup and get some much deserved credit for good play.
