FT 0-2 (Kats, Carlos Martins)

Good and solid performance. Guimarães were kept completely harmless for the whole 90 minutes.

We miss Petit. Even a worn out Petit played better than Yebda is currently. Bynia is just a disgrace pushing the ball forward. But at least he puts a hurtin on people. As is, without Katso, our transition is slow and predictable.

I'd seriously consider playing Ruben Amorim in tandem with Katz and play Balboa or Urreta in that perimeter. Can't amount much of an attack without a solid base of distribution upfield that doesn't give the ball back to the opposition.

Well if Urreta is to young then he should be loaned back to a Uruguayan club. He played half a season in the Uruguayan 1st divisionm he needs to develop his skill now.

I said this the day you signed him for 4 M Euro and I was criticized for my opinion.

He really is garbage.

You said he was a better version of Manu. So far I'd say you overestimated him.

Did Maxi always play right D for Benfica, or did he ever play Defensive Mid position along with Petit.

In Uruguayan league he played kind of like a 2 way Centre Mid. For the NT he always played right defence, which he had too, to get into the team.

Maxi started as a right midfielder but he always sucked tremendously there. He only started to shine in the defence, although he doesn't add much depth to the attack.

Benfica 4-1 Olhanense (Nuno Gomes, J Ribeiro, Sidnei, Di María)

A game with a very special spectator, Maradona, who got to see Di María on a good level and scoring a very nice goal.

By beating Belenenses yesterday and winning all 3 games we're now in the semi-finals of the competition.
