Santos da Casa or CL in 2007/08

According to your unofficial newspaper on their edition of today, there seems to be at least one thing clear regarding your next year's season: if your current coach Fernando Santos da Casa fails to grab the 2nd place that gives direct access to the Champions League he will leave.

So, the million Euro question is:

What do you prefer?

One more year of exciting football by Engenheiro do Penta or the possibility of staying one year without CL and having again a tiresome pre-season?

edit: typo

FS will be Benfica's coach next year, even if Benfica finishes 3rd.
We need more players and some stability. Nuno Gomes is tired, the man's old and can barely move at the end of this season.

Santos out, for sure!

He's done nothing to justify having a second year just as he did nothing to justify being hired in the first place.

i dont believe santos will stay, unless we win the title

however this is the boards speech, and the right one imo

finnishing 2nd ( if we cant get the title) is key, as that month clearly harm us in comparison to the other teams in the league when it comes the end of the season

The Team looks clearly tired and the bench just isn't good enough to support the starting 11. This isn't over yet and we still need to go out with some "sopa de lagarto" version 2.0

It's the players who play the game in the end, not the coach. I have no problem with Santos as Benfica-coach. It's not his fault that in the past three matches the team hit like 6000 posts but didn't score. No other coach could do against something like that from the sideline.
That's like saying it was Charly Chaplins fault that his films are all held in black and white.

At the end of the season we should be glad to end second! However i think the second place is to high for us at this moment. We fuked the whole season up in the last three games.

So santos OUT and qualifing for CL with the third place!

Another something is that this will be probably the last season portugal has two direct championsleague places. Romania will steal one away!
