Here is the complete list:

Defesas: Nélson, Alcides, Luisão, Ricardo Rocha, Anderson, Miguelito e Leo.

Médios: Katsouranis, Beto, Nuno Assis, Simão, Manu, Petit e Karyaka.

Avançados: Nuno Gomes, Miccoli, Kikin Fonseca e Mantorras.

On behalf of all Bhoys, i'd like to take this opportunity to welcome Benfica and all Benfiquista's to Paradise. :smileani:

I'd like to see a fair game as well, our history with Porto is bitter and I hope you do not reflect them in anyway whatsoever with their diving dirty tactics

A match between two clubs with some of the finest traditions and history in European football, both historically renowned for their commitment to attacking football, and all of this played to an electric atmosphere infront of 60,000 supporters.

It can't fail to be special.

It's just a pity that it looks like being one or the other in terms of which of our clubs will progress to the next stage. How many supporters do you expect Benfica to bring to Paradise out of interest?

It's not over until it's over, last year we caught Manchester last minute, so to say. Nobody would've expected Villareal and Benfica to go through back then, so why not surprise them again ... okay, ManU have 6 points by now, soon 9 I reckon, and I am just an far-from-reality-optimist, but hey, I don't even have appropriate arguments to justify my optimism!

I seriously don't have the slightest idea, but I think it depends on how many tickets Celtic has sent to Lisbon.

We have some scores to settle.

The original story involved a coin...

Yeah, when you're brought up in a Celtic-supporting family that story gains folklore i can assure you.

Hope nobody minds me posting some of these photos, if it's a problem for anyone then let me know. This is a copy of the Match Programme from the aforementioned 'folklore match'.

That's true, we'll keep our fingers crossed for the dirty Mancs to go out again somehow - and if not then one of us can just go on to lift the UEFA Cup instead this year.

Just like to add my best wishes to the fans of Benfica.

Hope we see a great game, fairly played with lots of goals. As long as we score one more than you .

If Gomes, Simao and Miccoli continue to have this chemistry; we should be able to score a few. We must try to avoid giving away free kicks, because Nakamura can really hurt us. Hesselink has always been a threat so we're looking for Luisao and Rocha to do some good containing.

Uh huh... get ready for Katsouranis, Nuno Gomes, Simao, and the lot flopping everywhere. Yeah, we dive, so do they, so does everybody.

Go Benfica in this game; I can't stand the SPL.
