Captain: Simao v Rui Costa

Now considering Simao hasn't been sold yet and he somehow remains with us, who do you think Santos will hand the captain's arm band to?

Easy Decision: Rui Costa

Simao does not have any leadership qualities in him. Which just about hands the captaincy to Rui Costa.

Simao is a great player but he's not the player you see that pushes his team forward, that really fights for the cause. He's usually the one who gives up running on a longball, Pauleta style.

He doesn't have the character to be a captain.

rui without a doubt

as mentioned, luisao has great captaincy qualities as well, both in the way he pushes the team forward, as in the way he relates to the fans and the press.

nuno also has it.

simao, like said is a great player, and i hope he stays (plez ) but i have to agree that as a captain he's a bit imature

Immature? You'll have to elaborate more on that since at times Simao looks as if he has ice running through his veins with Benfica. If by immature you mean he doesn't know how to Captain a group than that's something else.

Alright than, I thought by immature you meant like Rooney immature and losing your cool I don't think you should be judging him so harshly, he isn't as emotional of a leader for us as compared to let's say Nuno Gomes or even now Rui Costa, but he still has done well with the arm band. Although, I don't think we saw much, he did a lot of work as captain during the CL which helped us progress.
