So far so good, we've only lost one pre-season friendly and that was to Chelsea. Nonetheless, we scored it for them on an own-goal. We were the better team than them that day. We're undefeated in all our other games no less.

Stay tuned....

He may win a championship this year and I'll eat crow, but I'd still rather have Le Guen.

Forca Benfica!

Le Guen didn't come because he wanted to bring his medical team or something like that, which would make it impossible for Rudolfo Moura to stay.

le guen didnt want to come, so his loss

so far im happy with koeman, the team seems to be slowly adapting to the new more attacking style, and im pleasead with the players he sent away and the players he has chosen to be promoted from the B team.

also, he's been acting like a gentleman in the press conferences, and i appreciate that too.

now lets only hope the forwards will come this week (AT LAST!) and let the ball roll on

well i wouldnt mind that guy from latvia...verpakovski (spelling?) the papers mentioned...even though he wouldnt be able to play in CL this year.

other than that, we need a 2nd striker too....i dunno, im sure that if they look carefully, in the less visible leagues, they can come up with someone decent. thats what we have to do, decent scouting, not trying to hire overpaid stars. we cant afford it

tbh, i wouldnt want saviola, as his wages are way too high and would only disturb our finances, and im not so sure about how motivated would be to come playing for us....larson would be cool though

I'm liking what I'm seeing. Very crisp passing on Saturday's game. I forgot to set my DVR to tape today's game.

But, the questions surrounding him were how he'll handle the pressure. So far he hasn't faced the thunder.

If you mean Larsson, you will not be able to get him. He's a regular sub for us. You might be able to get Saviola, if you pay 100% of his wages or buy him.

Dito ... so far he makes a good job, but the tough games are yet to come. Playing a promising pre-season and being able to built rapport with the fans as well as acting gentleman-like with the press is only half the job. The other half is gaining titles and a harder task.
Força Benfica, boa sorte Ronald Koeman

A bad start is better then a bad ending. Let's wait and see what he can do the next few months. If he's really not the man, Camacho is still free

*#$& him :fero: :fero:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seriously, in 3 games he messed up big time, and he seems to be getting worse...he has no clue about what game system or tactics hes gonna apply, no idea about in which position does each player perform better, and not even about which players are more skilled/ hardworking....clueless :rollani:

and like he said to the press...."there is something wrong"...i agree 100%, and its u ronald
