we would like to thank......

- A todos que enviaram imagens de sofás e cadeirões, dizendo: "Queres ser campeão? Então espera sentado". Foi um bom conselho. Isso de esperar 18 ou 19 anos dá experiência nestes assuntos;

pelo "mofo" acumulado desde 1993. Não se preocupem, pois Portugal já passou epidemias bem piores, nomeadamente os 18 e 19 anos acima referidos. Mas como o agradecimento é sincero, fica uma sugestão: RENNIE ou KOMPENSAN para a azia;

- A todos os que enviaram o aviso de que tinha problemas na versão Word 1.0 de 93/94, que não conseguiam escrever "Benfica Campeão". A grande maioria dos portugueses reportaram o facto à Microsoft, e eles desenvolveram a aplicação "1 a 0" versão 04/05, pelo que já podem escrever as tão desejadas palavras, que não irá ocorrer qualquer problema;

- A todos que enviaram o vídeo do Gato Fedorento, "O adepto do Benfica". È um grande momento de humor. Embora continuemos a querer ganhar por "quinje a jero", conclui-se mais uma vez, que não é necessário ganhar com algumas goleadas para ser campeão (a outra foi na longínqua época do treinador John Mortimore);

actuações. É sem dúvida, dos melhores em Portugal;

- Ao facto do Mourinho ter saído do FCP. Foram menos 20 pontos, em relação à época passada. De facto, um grande treinador, que transforma o mediano em óptimo;

- Ao Pitbull, ao Leandro, ao Areias, ao Leo Lima, ao Fabiano Fabuloso, ao
Pepe, ao Claudio, ao Del Neri e ao Luis Fernandez;

- Ao Trapattoni, que nos fez ganhar o campeonato, mesmo piorando 9 pontos, em relação ao ano passado. Isto apesar de termos sido eliminados da UEFA pelo vencedor desta prova, para quem não sabe, o CSKA ("a melhor equipa que defrontamos esta época");

- Ao Peseiro, pela frase acima referida;

- Aos russos que, a 18 de Maio, gritaram "Viva o Benfica";

- Ao Luisão que, em Janeiro, após derrota com o Beira-Mar afirmou: "Em Maio vamos ver quem festeja!". Ele tinha razão. Foi o marcador de um dos golos mais decisivos dos últimos tempos;

época 2001/2002, redimiu-se e fez a falta sobre o guarda-redes do Sporting,no dia 14 de Maio, na Luz;

[declaração logo após o jogo da Luz]. Finalmente, alguém que conseguiu tirar o filtro verde do televisor;

amarelos (alguém poupou 15000 euros);

equipamentos;

i heard LFV telling the story on TVI. Hard to explain here but all the team was waiting near the bus for Mantorras to come from doping control. Until Mantorras was not ready, the players were waiting a long time on the bus. Some guys gone talk with Mantorras and he said "I can't piss! I can't piss!".

After another long time waiting, the board and players decided to go and some guy would take Mantorras near the bus afterwards on a moto. Some minutes later, Mantorras approaches the Benfica bus, on a moto, and yells: "I pissed! I pissed!"

I have Benfica's european competitions shirt from this year, but no, i don't like to have names and numbers printed on shirts. The only exception was Poborsky, i wanted to have a shirt with his name, even after he left to Lazio, but for some reason, i didn't get to buy one. Why do you ask?

Same here ... especially with Benfica in the last years you must always fear the player might be leaving right after you bought it. I have several Benfica-shirts and no names on them (though by the time I got my first one back in the nineties I still wanted to have João Pinto on it ... but I never come to it however as well)

I was thinking to get one next season but I still don't know if i'll put a name of a player. I like Sokota very much but he's not there anymore, i like Miguel and Manuel Fernandes but I don't like their names (too Portuguese). Poborsky was cool.

your euro shirt has BES on the back?

Yes, and that made me furious.

I thought they made replicas of the shirts the players wore, and since the vodafone logo is small in uefa games and BES on the back doesn't exist, i was shocked when i saw that the vodafone logo was big and had BANCO ESPÍRITO SANTO (3 lines) on the back. Still, it's by far the most beautiful shirt we've had in years, especially when you think about the one that's coming.

Now:

cool?! that is probably the worst Benfica shirt ever! Adidas can really make ugly stuff regarding football shirts. Always the same style. Players even seem worse wearing those shirts.
