Here's hoping you can do a Parma and come straight back up

The best form of defence in this league is attack.

I find Colantuono more appealing personally, but I really like what Giampaolo did at Siena. At first I was really excited about him, but now I wonder if he's just using Toro to get Siena to increase his contract, or something ...

Story from yesterday's Tuttosport, with the salary info, and Giampaolo trying to take a hardline with Siena:

He's either very good at PR, or is truly delighted to be at Torino -- hopefully it's both.

I hope he gets sold, or sent out again. His attitude was terrible in Serie A, I shudder to think what it'd be like in Serie B.

Not a good deal, but I guess it's hard to negotiate from Serie B.

I liked Loria a lot at Siena -- this might actually be an ok move, both for him (dropping down a level, getting his confidence back) and Toro (picking up a beast of a CB who's a threat on set plays).

Sure but, as Morierinho, it's gotta be hard to dig your heels in too much when you're in the position Torino are. Plus, it'd bring in a little much-needed cash. Hopefully Loria's salary won't be more than Natali's was ....
