I wonder if this is a new situation, or if Cairo has simply run through his "play money" budget for the club. He's too successful a businessman not to have realized the situation when he bought the club. He must have known what he was getting into. The other alternative is that he was genuinely surprised by the awful effect of playing in such a small venue (less ticket revenue). Hard to say, but increasingly distressing.
Anytime an owner says something to the effect that, "Anyone who wants to buy me out and try their hand is welcome," that's a very bad sign.
