Serie A Matchday 16: Torino-Roma

Its unfortunate that we have to play the two best teams in Serie A two days in a row. This is also the first part of our double-header against Roma (we play them in the Coppa Italia in midweek). This is a must win for Roma if they want to keep up with Inter, so we will have to battle hard to get a point.

By all accounts you still have many other good players that are certainly better than ours...

full time 0-0

torino was the better team for most of the match and was much closer to winning it today, but their inability to score cost them.

This team is so ****ing frustrating to watch sometimes. I mean, I could say we were trying to be conservative against a team like Roma, but come on, I can't believe some of the golden chances we missed.

You should have won comfortably. But a draw against Roma isn't a bad result in the end.

That's exactly what I'm pissed about. Normally a draw against Roma is a fine result, especially if we had been on the back foot, but missing so many chances for an upset is just enragingly frustrating.

But at least you proved you are much better than the majority of the teams below in the table.

True, but what's the point if we can't pull off a result?

You will sooner or later. Way better than to just plainly suck like, say, Reggina

But if we're better than teams below us, we need to start beating them. Or for that matter, winning against any team.

Patience must be running thin on all levels.

I've seen rumors that if things don't turn around, Cairo might want to bring Stefano Colantuono, who would be a good manager for us IMO.

I'd surely prefer Colantuono to Novellino but sacking the coach now is premature, imo.
