Torino Gear Online!

http://www.tifoshop.com/search.asp?D...c=Torino&from=

Found a site where I can get official Torino gear! (And for that matter, gear for all Serie A and most Serie B teams plus Perugia and Verona.) They have a pretty good selection too. Home, away, and keeper jerseys for this year plus shorts and socks from this year's kit. Last year's away kit is there too and cheaper than this year's shirts. Also a decent selection of centenary stuff.

Pretty expensive though, €60 for this year's shirts (more for the keeper shirt) plus €35 to ship to the USA, though it probably varies from country to country. I might still consider it, or just wait to get it for Christmas.

Just thought I'd share it with you all as I know this quesiton has been raised before.

FORZA VECCHIO CUORE GRANATA!

Online ordering doesn't work on those sites...but I will keep that store in mind when I go to Torino next summer! (Unfortunately, summer is the only time my studies allow me to go to Europe, and I'm pretty sure I'll be studying away in Argentina next school year.)

I'll try to see some preseason matches, though they'll probably the very first ones. I'm gonna try and go mid to late June (if I'm lucky get a ticket to a Euro 2008 game) and return in mid to late July.

I'm majoring in Latin American Studies, so Argentina makes much more sense academically for me.

My wife brought me back some stuff (Inter gear) while she was in Milan on business a few years ago. It seemed pretty expensive to me at the time. But then when you look at the US prices for "authentic" MLB jerseys (US$125+) and so forth, the Italian prices don't look so bad.

My wife's cousin sends me some Toro gear about once a year (2 years ago he sent me a shirt from the team that shall not be named.......resulted in a very awkward thank you...). He's retired, so I'm hoping that this stuff is just a cheap knock-off. I don't want to be taking food out of his mouth.

Cairo gives a little speech after Carlo Testa - leader of the store - at the inauguration. He's funny.

Click "Il Negozio".
