Serie A Matchday 6: The Big One - Derby della Mole

This is it, this is the match everybody's been waiting for in Turin. Our beloved Granata take on the theives for the first time since 2003. Form counts for nothing here, and I'm sure the stadium will be packed to the brim. I wish I was there, but I will be on a trip of my own.

But no matter where we are that day we must stop for a second a send our boys the support they need to show that Turin really and truly is granata.

We need big things from our boys:

Forza Chino!

Forza Rosinaldo!

E Forza Torooo!

Our lineup will probably be, with Rubin having won a place from Lanna:

Bjelanovic
Recoba-Rosina
Barone-Corini-Grella
Rubin-Dellafiore-Natali-Comotto
Sereni

And nothing like some good old fashioned art courtesy of our friends at antijuve.com:

And, a bit crude, but gets the point across nicely :

ALE ALE ALE FORZA TOROOO!! CHI NON SALTA E BIANCONERO!!!:notlist:

FORZA VECCHIO CUORE GRANATA!

Surely not! Had you been an Inter fan you wouldn't be taking it on the chin like a man .

Best of luck - after we kick you to a pulp of course .

NB: As I am not an Italian Juve fan, aside for the fun of banter, I have only positive thoughts (almost) about Toro. Its great for the derby to be back. Hope Palladino will run amock and do the bull run to celebrate each goal.... I actually expect Nocerino to

Fvck! gazzetta.it is reporting that Rosina is out injured for the derby! Good news is that Ventola will be back. Motta or Zanetti will probably take his place, though Barone will move up to attacking mid.

Great match thread intro

The derby and other matches like juve-Roma, juve-Milan are great to remind me how much I hate juvemerda

Hopefully Del Piero plays, maybe he can help us start some counters

Forza Toro

Yeah. Should've said he is doubtful, but I have a feeling he and the club staff will be doing everything possible to get him fit for the game, so I think he will end up playing.

Torino Without Rosina Against Juve

Torino have been dealt a blow ahead of the big derby against Juventus on Sunday as their influential striker Alessandro Rosina has been ruled out for the match by the club’s medical staff.

zoom - galleria Toro coach Walter Novellino will have to do without the 23-year-old, who is suffering with muscular problems, but at least he can fall back on the services of fit-again Nicola Ventola.

Torino are still smarting from the defeat away to Parma in midweek, but they will have put the disjointed display down to having one eye already on the battle of Turin.

In other Granata news, France U17 starlet Malik Hioune has managed to impress during a trial period with the club, and the former Bordeaux midfielder is now expected to receive a professional contract as a result.
