Serie A Matchday 3: Palermo-Torino

Serie A restarts this weekend after the international break and this is a tough one for sure. Our defense will have to be up to the task of controlling Amauri and Miccoli, and frankly I'm afraid that might not be a likely possiblity. We lost 3-0 here last term, but I think we can play well enough to grab a point if we are balanced on both offense and defense. Hopefully the team is up to the task.

Di Michele is of course suspended, and Lazetic and Vailatti are injured, though Comotto will return so we can expect a near full-strength XI:

Ventola
Recoba-Rosina
Grella-Corini-Barone
Lanna-Di Loreto-Natali-Comotto
Sereni

My heart = INTER...No Matter Win or Lose...

Zanetti : I still remember my first day at Inter. I arrived with a plastic bag with my boots inside and I crossed the crowd of fans who were asking who I was. That's where it all started.....

It seems Dellafiore might start instead of Di Loreto.

1-1 is the final score, with Recoba scoring his first ever Toro goal! A respectable result for us (last year this tie was 3-0 in favor of Palermo) and a fine display, but now we need to start getting wins. We have a home game against Siena and an away game against Parma before the derby so hopefully we can pick up a win in at least one of those. Though Novellino was sent off for dissent late in the game.

That's certainly good news. This looked like a good result to me based on the opposition and location.

I have a feeling we'll be kicking ourselvs over the draw with Reggina later this season. But for now, we're staying respectable.

Seriously, what is your problem?

I don't even so why you are here, so kindly leave. We don't need your arrogant, patronizing attitude around here, nor mention of that awful team you support. You are not our "big brethren", we never have been and we never will be. We will only call you our bretheren over my dead body. You are lucky to even be in Serie A, so I wouldn't push it. So please kindly stop trolling and leave.
