Actually, ‘The Torino FC legend – An Italian fairytale’ (302 pages, Mirco Occhetti Publisher/Toronews) contemplates reaching a precise goal: explaining the English language readers, and generally speaking the football fans all around the world, how unique the history of this club is. A book written by a fan, and most importantly written as a fan: by consequence, don’t expect a ‘cold’ chronological description of the events, but instead a passionate time travel through the stories and the men who built this magic history, which is too fascinating to be delimited by any kind of linguistic or geographical barriers and deserves to be spread as much as possible. A fairytale, as the subtitle suggests.

The book, printed on high-quality paper and containing more than 40 photos, some of which unpublished, is now available on two websites ( http://store.toronews.net/index.php?...prodotto&p=103 for the Italian market and http://www.sportsbooksdirect.co.uk/p...&SBDProdID=450 for United Kingdom and rest of the world) at cost Ł18.99 or € 28.00. More online bookstores will follow in the upcoming weeks.

Enjoy it, and feel free to ask me anything you want about it

I am looking forward to reading the full version.

Andrea asked for some advice very early in his project and I was lucky enough to be in a place to give him encouragement (though he didnt need much) to pursue what has been a dream rather than just a project.

This is very much a labour of love and as the Author has taken on to write a book in his second language he has my full respect.

Well done Andrea and lets hope his work broadens our understanding of the Toro legend.

Hi guys,

This may be a longshot, but I don't suppose anyone has a spare copy of this book that they would be willing to sell to me?

Can't find anywhere in the UK that stocks it and though I think there are still copies available at the ToroNews store - I don't really want to pay 28euros plus postage to England if I can avoid it.

Thanks in Advance
Rob

Cheers mate but that sportsbooks website is offline, sadly I think that was the only British website that stocked it.
