Thumbs Up Azeri clubs in Eurocups 2015-16

Neftchi and Inter are unlikely to impress, Gabala is surprise package and all eyes are on Gurban Gurbanov's Karabakh, which is going through transformation.

Karabakh just signed Elvin Yunuszade. I think it is bad move for Karabakh.

This year it is a must to enter the group, at least Europa league ... UEFA substantially increased prize money for the group and qualifying rounds ...
For just access to the Champions League groups (not taking into acc Qual rounds) now the club will get about 12.5 million € (used to be 8.6 million) + for each win in the group ---1.5 million € (previously 1 million), so if our champion will make its way into the group and there pick up a few points it can make about 20 million € for the entire tournament, and if they manage to take 3rd spot in the group and get into the EL it will be even more ... It's an astronomic money for our championship.

The EL prize money also raised about 2.5 times, now for the group stage clubs will get 2.6 million € if I remember correctly (used to be 1.2 million €)

Allthough, little chance this year for Champions League groups for Karabakh, coefficient is small... Would be happy even for EL

Karabakh will pass.

Inter and Neftchi will choke. Gabala under question.

What's the chances of a Azeri side competing in Europa this season? Also, is Oguz Cetin still a coach in Azerbeycan?

Neftchi will not stand a chance as long Agil Mammedov is the starting keeper. They could use a strong striker, should've kept Canales. I still think its 50/50 for all of our teams except for Qarabag who's favorite at 70-30

The 2nd rd EL draws also gives us some beatable opponents - I hope we can get 2 teams into the EL play-offs.

What happened to Neftchi and Inter Baku? Can somebody explain me? Why their best players already left those teams?

Budget cuts from their sponsors due to oil prices going down and both teams changed coaches at the end of this season. Both teams are not as strong as in previous years, but they're strong enough to pass 2 qualifiying stages based on the draw - the only issue will be not having enough time for them to build chemistry and adapt with the new changes on short notice.

Neftchi gonna loose badly. Then Samir Aliyev with typical explanation: Our team wasn't experienced and made from young players.

Before the deadline, Zurab Khizanishvili (good signing) is registered to Inter Baku's squad, and Neftchi added Javid Imamverdiyev.

Zurab is very talented player but I highly doubt he will benefit Inter. Javid also sucks. Horrible transfers
