Baku 2015. 1st European games

The opening ceremony was dope. As much as I was skeptical about us hosting the event, the opening was absolutely amazing. Great job and keep up good work!

Yes, it was awesome. All my friends in the UK loved it. I especially liked Alim Gasimov and Gobustan motive

armoyan is always getting his ass whipped by our wrestlers, Mukhtarov is like our 2nd/3rd backup in that weight class- I'm disappointed in Hasan Aliyev losing to the armo, he was the favorite in that division.

Didn't 3 different Armenian wrestlers defeat Azeri wrestlers head to head already? Come on Azerkid don't be sore, at least not you.

Not sore at all, we got 6 medals in Greco vs. your 1. The armo that beat Mukhtarov (backup) was born in and represents Russia, but armoyan representing your flag got destroyed 9-1 by our backup guy. Hasan Aliyevs defeat by the armo was an upset and i'm not making excuses about that- it was a clean scalp. The other guy that lost to you was an Iranian 85kg we brought in to fill the space- not much was expected from him, he's too inconsistent.

If you're going to compare head to head, you should start with the right tournament- you guys got destroyed 8-0 in the Greco world cup against us. Individual or team format we're still better- just check our resume

I'm saying that head to head in this tourney we have your number thus far so it wouldn't hurt to show a bit of respect in all honesty.

Amoyan is a Yezdi btw

If that perspective make you guys happy then thats fine, I'm not mad at that . I was just pointing out that our favorite got beat unexpectedly by your guy, but your favorite amoyan got beat by our backup rookie. Theres still freestyle wrestling coming up in a few days, looking forward to it.

Is Greco done yet? Amoyan is already past it even at 31-32. It was quite evident in last year's championships.

Except for the fact that most, if not all, of our representatives in that tournament were 2nd/3rd string guys.

Same with us - most World cup squads are usually backups, sometimes a few regulars join to get into form, but unfortunately you finished last in past two world cups and only got 1 medal in these games with your backups which shows that the difference in depth between us. Aside from Aleksanyan and Julfanyan theres not much quality depth in your squads - maybe that kid that beat our Hasan Aliyev will be the future if he keeps winning.

everything aside, I actually think Amoyan is a very solid wrestler. His rivalry with Bayramov was entertaining as hell.

As far as Hasan goes, the loss is completely on him. He was up 3-0 and could have easily maintained the lead. But he wanted to finish in style, became reckless and lost. Having said that, we have solid competition in 66kg weight, and Hasan will have to earn his spot in the national team going forward.

Hasan Aliyev is very unstable wrestler. He didn't surprised me. Jabrail Hasanov is also another unstable performing wrestler.
