i really loved photography and drawing with graphit and ink but i actually have no time for drawing anymore. Still I wanna show you a few of my drawings and photographies. Specially love landscapes, still lifes and animals as motives.

to start with, i post a drawing from me from 2000, a forest in the german Harz-region. Hope you like it!

Yours is a very pensive drawing. In fact it brings me back to the old days [like, a little over a century ago, in the 1850's] when Corot and Théodore Rousseau roamed the forest of Fontainbleau in the little hamlet of Barbizon, France.

Have you seen Corot's cliches-verres? They are drawn with a needle on a glass plate coated with an opaque ground from which positive photographic prints are made on sensitized paper as from an ordinary negative; leaving a most unusual texture. I will post some samples later on.

Thank you, LaBlanca.

WOW! You're full of surprises aren't you, Heike? It's beautiful. Each element on there is given the perfect amount of attention. Very beautiful, indeed.

I mostly use pencils to draw but the stuff I draw can get pretty disturbing so I don't think I'll put it on here p

Very impressive, fellas!

LaBlanca: Do you mind critics? I have one. On your first sketch, there's a minor flaw with the reflections of the trees on the water. But enough of this, I like your melancholic style!

Samp: The next Doug Chiang, eh?

Samp, do you know Collani? We once met him in Weimar and he was helping a friend of mine with drawing the palace cause she was despeately cying while he came along. And we didnt have an idea who he was. when he was ready with the scetch he asked her to sign it and said if he does the sketch would be worth US$ 10 000 at least. Just later we found out WHO he was!

Steph, its a thread about sharing your art . Now c'mon show us yours!

Seriously, if I could I would.

Nothing is on the computer, I have no scanner, I can't seem to find back my drawings folder since I tidied up my room and it's not even that good anyway!

There's still Enola's avatar, mind, but I realize it's not worth more than the 3 minutes I 'toiled' on it!

Here's an illustration I did some years ago... The Dancing Gorilla. It was rendered with colored pencils.
