Kafka XII

I have not opened a Kafka before.

Ranaan, I know you closed the other thread..... but this is a historic thrad at least for the members. Good that you stopped that guy from posting (at least for now), and the rest of the kafkanians are all cool

Opening this version now and hopefully the thread will serve its main purpose as it always had.

Anyway guys....let's chill like always

Raanan, are you off your head? Just because Ze and Garrincha had a debate, it doesn't mean the Kafka thread "serves no purpose". You are not the one to judge that. If we wish to close it, we would it on our own. We can handle whatever arguments.

Also... Dennys, I don't think you should say to anyone that he's not welcomed. From my part, Garrincha is a nice guy, and his argument with you has nothing to do with it because honestly, you're a bit on the wrong side (not saying that he isn't also, but less...). In any case, this WHOLE argument is not welcomed in my opinion. There is little point debating it in the Kafka topic... just let it go. And this goes for everyone involved. Just my opinion.

Kuranyi is a forward. I've seen him play only 3 or 4 times and he looked quite good, miles ahead of Paulo Rink who was crap, in my opinion. Kuranyi is VERY fast and has nice skills, but I have doubts about his finishing. In any case, the Germans are desperate for strikers so...

I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.

I've been on the verge of passing out for about 3 or 4 days now.

I'll be watching the Por - Gre here, at home. Cross the pond a little later after. I expect to make the trip in a good mood or really, really drunk to numb the pain.

Can we get back to normal now? - I hate my lovely forum to be spoiled by people fighting and closing threads due to the situation (and it was my first Kafka thread opener!) . Can regular Kafka-ites please ignore those who come to seek a confrontion here in Kafka - even if it means biting your tongue and swollowing your rage at attacks.

Thank you

I believe I mentioned the thread is closed temporarily (if not here then at least privately) at the very least. This is my duty as CM to do what I feel is the best for this site and you'll have to accept it and respect my decisions just like I respect yours.

Kafka isn't a separated island, it's a thread on Xtratime and as such the FM's and the CM's have every right to interfere in case of trouble like this time. The closure of the thread was the only way for me to stop the flame-war at that point of time and I don't see the need to apologize for doing that.

The less talked about respect the better. You show no respect by closing the topic, you're effectivelly telling Ze and Garrincha to go to their beds. Two extra-senior posters like them can handle an argument. You should know that.

However, I see the need for me to knock some sense into your head. One of the basic rules of management is to never interfere when you don't have to. There wouldn't be any flame war, most likely it had already stopped when you showed up in your power trip to close a topic you have no business mendling with because it can take care of itself like it has been doing for years now. The only flame war around is the grilling you rightly receive right now.

Go away before I get even more upset from what you did, you silly boy. :eekani:

Ze, no in football they don't sing "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" like Rugby, instead they sing the imaginative "ENG-ER-LAND, ENG-ER-LAND". However, in the cricket they have taken to singing "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" which is cool

Amo do yourself a favour and don't assume things you don't know, it was flame war in its best, I even recieved personal complaints about it, otherwise I wouldn't have seen it.

This is my final post on this issue, if anyone has any questions feel free to PM me or post it in the FM forum, thank you.

Natalya,

What about that "Rule Britannia" etc..... they sing a lot, right?

Although they never used to sing that way back, did they?

Amo,

As the other individual always talks about me behind my back to get me banned, I complained to Raanan about his "following"me and he took the action he felt the best.

No. What he did was stupid just the same. You don't close the Kafka topic for that. He could PM Garrincha or whatever.
